Was a very busy night, yet service was ok. Food was average, pricing was a bit high, but location dictates that.

This was one of the most disappointing meal experience I have had in a very long time. Considering it was Easter Sunday, and we had reservations. Here's why: 1. We sat waiting 50 m8nutes for our food to come out; 2. When we received our food, it was cold; 3. The waiter kept telling us the kitchen was backed up, starting 20 minutes after we ordered; We noticed the manager was more concerned about stacking chairs instead of making sure food was moving in the kitchen. As amanager, on a day you should be managing every aspect of the restaurant, you were oblivious to the wait your customers were experiencing. We were not alone. Others were also waiting even longer who were seated before us. Very poor management!

First time dining at the restaurant. Salsa was yummy but hard to enjoy with small, broken chip pieces. Meal was good but fajitas for one was a very small portion. Timing was long, took over 25 minutes to receive our food after ordering. Staff was attentive to refilling drinks. Will try a dinner service, this was Easter lunch and several tables sat at same time - might have attributed to slow meal delivery.

This restaurant has quickly become one of our favorites for TexMex in the metroplex after discovering at a little over a year ago. The food is amazing- best shrimp enchiladas I have ever had! The drinks are excellent and not over-priced and the ambience and service are excellent. We feel like we are on vacation when we go there. We have eaten there twice in the past month and can't wait to go back.

Felt like going to a doctors visit in the jungle. Wait at the hostess stand to get seated. Finally get seated then wait for the waiter to notice you. Finally get noticed then wait for drinks or apps to come. When they show up you can’t taste the tequila in the margaritas and we couldn’t tell any difference with the CBD agave up charge - I had four when they limit you to two and I should have been seeing music and tasting colors if it were legit. Felt nothing. Finally the food arrives and it’s mediocre - again, probably would have been amazing had there actually been CBD agave in the margaritas. The ambience is that of an adult rainforest cafe but missing the animatronics and lighting. With the lack of booze and CBD in the cocktails teamed with the meh cuisine and the serious wait times - I would say grab you a premixed margarita, some gummies and some Taco Bell takeout, stay at home and smash it while staring at scenes of the Mexican jungle on your iPad.

We have been to Lost Colony before and love it. This time there was a hair in our food. They did replace the dish and brought a free dessert but still we were a little turned off this visit.

Wanted to try the place after reading previous reviews. Unfortunately we did not have the same experience. We saw a lot of complaints about the service but that turned out to be about the only good thing of the night. Server was attentive and friendly. Salsa was good but after that everything went downhill. The calamari was extremely tough and virtually inedible and the promised chicarron crusted jalapeños were cut co thinly there was no crust to be found. My wife ordered fajitas and they were served on a cold plate with no onions or peppers. My brisket tacos were very tough. Margaritas were okay but nothing special. Very disappointed in the experience and certainly will not be back.
