The aesthetic is very pretty and the food looks pretty but the taste was just ok, nothing special. The drinks are fun and tasty so I would come back just for cocktails and dessert! It was my mom’s birthday and I made sure to put it in the notes but not a single person acknowledged it even though we saw other birthday celebrations being acknowledged so that was a bit disappointing. Service was good up until they got busy and then the service fell tremendously although I can’t blame the servers since management should have staffed correctly to avoid that. We had a promo from them, $50 off for a birthday but somehow no one knew how to activate it? Until finally some girl came over and applied it but she looked kind of annoyed, we still tipped 22% on the full check amount by the way but she didn’t even give me my receipt at all? Overall the vibe is cool, the drinks are good, service and knowledge of promos can be improved, and the food was just okay

The food was sooo good, but I only wish the servings were bigger, or perhaps came with sides. Went for brunch tho, so maybe dinner is different? Also had the best server, Alejandro. He was very attentive to our table, as well as the rest of his section.

This is my 2nd time going and i absolutely LOVE going. Aside from having great disability services and making me feel accommodating the employees are super kind. They make you feel really welcomed.

We loved this place. We took my mom for Mother’s Day on Sunday. The portions are smaller than expected but the food was amazing! The only problem that we have and still have not had it resolved is the photographer. They had one on site. We paid for 2 pictures with a promise from the photographer that we would also get digital copy emailed. I provided my email, double checked and had my husband check it. We have not received anything. I checked spam. I have been checking every day. I contacted the restaurant mid week. They told me they could do nothing about it. They said that I have to call on Saturday and speak to the photographer myself to try to get it resolved because they do not have a way to contact them? Doesn’t make sense. I feel that if the restaurant contracts a business to do this, they should be able to resolve my problem.

Food came out cold, beef was like jerky. You can tell that the beef was not cooked that day and they did a poor job of trying to reheat.

As other reviewers mentioned, the music was much too loud for 7:30 in the morning on Mother's Day. We also found the service to be quite slow, but that's everywhere these days. The Cafe de Olla was good and served hot at the table, although one of the mugs was dirty and had to be replaced. For a table of 6 they provided on small bowl of pork rind and three different salsa's of around a tablespoon each. Not enough for everyone to even taste. However, they did bring one small flour tortilla with a pork smear for the table to enjoy. The Sope Benedict with Birria was OK, but for $20 I was expecting a bit more than two on a plate with no accompanying sides. The sopes were also so hard I needed a steak knife to cut/break them (which arrived 10 minutes later). The waffle we ordered seemed like undercooked dough. Definitely not the correct batter to be using for a Belgian style. No one offered to refill our coffee so we ended up having only one cup. They have a photographer that came to the table and posed all possible combinations of each guest, then returned later and offered the photos at $25 each. Way too much and, although we felt pressured to buy at least ten to get the $1 discount, we bought two anyway.

I had a 10/10 expierence! I enjoyed the service and food. they even had marachi at the end of the night! The handmade tortillas were so delicious!

Love it but it’s super expensive 500 dollars for 4 plates 6 beers and 2 margaritas and one margarita flight.

The service and food was great but the only inconvenience thing is that the prices on the menus was not the same as in our check they were charging us a lot more so everyone check ur checks before paying

.It was my 1st time trying this restaurant. Mind you is Mother’s Day just wanted to point it out. I had my reservation at 7pm I was checking in at 7:12pm and I was told they had already cancelled my reservation. I asked how was that possible I didn’t even get a grace period of 15min. I was put back on the list I was told that I would receive a Text once my reservation was ready.I never received that text message in regards to our table . 27 minutes went by I had to speak to the receptionist in regards to our table and that’s when she sat it down soon after. I had an amazing Waiter who is El colombiano he was very much on top of it’. We ordered appetizers and a few drinks 1st because we were indecisive about the menu. We finally ordered our main dishes. It took more than 37 minutes to receive our food which were our main entrées. We were a party of four and realized that we were missing one of the main entrées. We we mention it to our waiter and after he brought out. All of our dishes were missing rice. Our waiter stated that they had to make a new batch of rice because the ran out. They served our food and we we also missing tortillas. We were working on our main dishes when a lady in all black that goes by the name Rosy came to my table and aggressively told us that our time was up. It was only a 1:30min dine in availability or policy because it was Mother’s Day. Mind you that we waited for ever for our food and one remaining entrée. I tried to explain that to her but she’s was no understanding the situations 2 people from out party where still working on their food. I felt so bothered and miss understood by this lady. The waiter came to asked what she told and or ask what she said. He told us not to worry that he had already spoken to he’s boss in regards to our food being served late, missing rice, beans and tortillas. The lady passed out table multiple times looking at us botherd. At that point I asked for the check and a box for the food that was still being

Place was a fun time. Food was good. The vibe was great. Our server was pretty good too. But…… whats with all the up charges? I am well aware that if you want a nice dinner your going to pay for a nice dinner. So bill came out and it looked a little pricey but hey mothers day weekend it’s expected. As i looked at all the different charges the first thing I noticed was we got up charged $40 for upgrading to casimigos in a couple of palomas. Then I saw that we got charged for 5 waters at $5 a pop!😳 why??? We also got charged $5 for tortillas at a Mexican restaurant with plates that traditionally come with tortillas. And then there was a 2% convenience charge???? For what??? Like a I mentioned good food, good service, good vibes, but almost $80-$90 on up charges? Come on. So I would recommend the restaurant for the food and service but just be careful when ordering water. 😂

The entire meal felt VERY rushed!. When restaurants have a limit it’s posted on their site so we’re pre-warned!. And we can make the choice (BEFORE) arriving to the restaurant if to go there, or some where else. But…. this restaurant did (NOT) notify us on their page of ANY time cap. When we were seated, we ordered drinks and two appetizers to start. We wanted to take a bit more to decide on our dinner choices. But she said “Keep in mind you only have an hour and 1/2 for your meal. EXACTLY at 90 min I need to close out your tab”. Huh??. So you’re going to bring out dinner, before we can even enjoy our appetizers and drinks?.… “Yes, sorry we have others waiting for the table”. Right there in that moment before we even enjoyed our appetizers she just deflated the night. The appetizers, dinner plates, tortillas, salsas, our drinks - everything was CRAMMED on the table!!!!. We ate our dinner COLD!. Because we ate the appetizers first. They brought them back to back!. Then the rice and beans were SO salty!. The sopes were SO hard and nothing but onion and a sprinkle of cheese on top of the meat. The tortillas used for my green enchiladas were over heated or over fried, depending on how they prepared them. But that made the chew, chewy!. Everywhere else that I’ve ordered enchiladas I can easily cut into them with just my fork. Well not here, I needed a knife!. And the cherry on top this night , was paying $231.66 for this food that we didn’t enjoy and ate cold. Ohhhh and also I asked the waitress for (4) regular waters, she brought us 4 little bottles of waters. Then on the bill she charged us $5 for each bottle?. I didn’t order sparkling or bubbly water!. Just 4 glasses of water. It was just comical!. So RIDICULOUS!!!!. I absolutely don’t mind paying for a delicious meal with a great dining experience. But this place unfortunately didn’t meet either!. I had my elderly parents with me who were starving. So getting up and leaving wasn’t unfortunately an option!.

This is not a place of you are hungry or you want to have a conversation with someone else. Seating was crammed. They had elbow tables. Not a great dining experience.

I was hoping the food to be better but I feel now a days these aesthetic places are hyped and put more effort in the decor than in the food. Had much better carne en su jugo cooked by a non Hispanic coworker and the drinks over priced!!

Pros: Aesthetically pleasing, warm ambience, delicious food, comfortable seating, beautiful music, fun environment! Cons: They expect you to be on time for your reservation and are not ready for you when you arrive. Beverages and food take forever. Bathroom needs consistent attending.

Food is delicious but served cold, disappointed. Told my server but didn’t seem to care and also mentioned that appetizers are served before food is brought out not while main food is being eaten. Music is so loud you cannot have a conversation with anyone.

Entiendo que era brunch por día de las madres pero se supone están preparados para ello, tardaron para tomar orden , para llevar comida , jamás hubo refil de café y cuando le dije al mesero dijo se acabó, y nunca nos dijo nada ? Llevábamos una cumpleañera se supone tienen una promo de 50 dlls y salen con que hay que llenar una aplicación en línea cuando la publicidad dice q solo presente su ID, la comida excelente como siempre.

To start it looks lovely we had a reservation, it was for outside but we were being sitted inside. Asked the hostess if possible to be outside as requested. She said she would check shortly after I saw her get a staff member to help set up the table. It was a small table, and he tried to put 5 chairs. I asked if we could have the neighboring table if possible. He did give the other table. Cool.... but then I saw the menus. The one on top had food on it rice it wasn't hard, so it was semi fresh. That should have been the 3rd red flag and enough for me to leave, I didn't due to these were inconveniences that were addressed with no issue. The server had a good personality but seemed a bit rushed... he tried to get us drinks n apps. and food all at once and tried a few times. We ordered drinks, and he offered to upgrade the Margaritas Flight to premium or different choice of tequila. We passed on premium but did ask for Anjeo instead of Blanco. The restaurant wasn't full, but didn't see a reason to rush us as he cont to do. Well, some of the table ordered and others later (server didn't like that). The guacamole n chicarrones were good, the tacos I forgot name but were supposed to have chicken, carne asada, chorizo n topped with chicarron and green salsa well out the 4 one had all toppings rest had 1-3 correct and came with red salsa. At that point we felt why complain let's eat and pay. Well the bill came and almost 400 bucks, which I wouldn't mind, but 2 people got tacos one carne en su jugo (was excellent, btw) a chilie reneo (not the best) and sopes As for drinks, a Margarita flight was very small and seemed as if only 2 of the brandy glasses had tequila. Now back to the bill this now made sense as we were charged $70 bucks for 2 shots of one of the most expensive tequila they had then made a 4 drink flight with it (waste of good tequila) the person who normally would talk to manager had stepped out so the birthday boy just paid he was over it! We won't be back.

I loved this restaurant! Went for my anniversary last february and my sister birthday last night ! Food was 11/10! vibe was very nice with live mariachi and happy birthday celebration sign for free!! Only issue was it was super crowded the reservations weren’t being seated quickly due to people staying longer than the limit (1hr & 30 mins). Other than that food, vibes, and price was great 🫶🏼

This place has terrible service I arrived on time to my reservation only to be asked to wait. They sat several people before me. I waited about 20 minutes to be seated.I had requested an indoor seat they sat me in the patio and never turned on a heater after I asked it was a chilly morning my food quickly got cold due to the weather. I ordered a cocktail that was 45 dollars only to be rushed to leave the table. I wasn’t able to even finish it. A manager named Carlos came and asked me and my friend to please wrap it up because they needed the table. Apparently it was a 2 hr minimum even though they didn’t respect my reservation and sat us late. Although it has a huge social media following please be aware of the poor service. For these prices you should be treated with a little more courtesy at the very least.

Being there for cinco de mayo was nice. If I was just there for the appetizers, drinks and ambiance I would have given them the 5 stars. The food was ok nothing spectacular. All our brunch dishes were super dry.

Very awesome place the hand made tortillas where very good, ordering a side of guacamole comes with chicharrón. All drinks and food that we ordered was delicious. Our waiter was awesome. The dessert was delicious too.

Definitely made me want to go back and check out the dinner. If breakfast/brunch was great can’t wait to see how it is later on in the day. Cannot beat fresh handmade tortillas or authentic flavor.

Honestly this place was really good, prices were good the food was very delicious the drinks were great too, and the vibe was amazing. The server was very attentive. The mariachi was definitely a vibe too. 🥳 Not going to lie I was bit skeptical about this place due to the reviews but my experience was nothing compared to what they were saying. My only issue was one of the greeters, (I’d put her name but she had no name tag) anyway you can tell she was not having it that day. A little attitude was given, which is understandable considering you have to be dealing with some hectic customers but not everyone was being rude. Anyway aside from that, I’d recommend this place.

The ambience, service and food was amazing. Has a Tulum vibe and perfect for brunch on the weekend with family and friends. Erick was our waiter and he was very informative and friendly as this was our first time dining here. We had their margarita flight, cafe de olla, freshly squeezed OJ, esquites, chilaquiles los verdes and los de doña Julia and everything was delicious. They have different carts of them serving esquites, freshly squeezed OJ, cafe de olla, tequila shots, that would rotate around from table to table (they are not complimentary but the service is still great.) They did offer us complimentary fruit and pan dulce in the beginning which was delicious as well. Also, they offered “botella de agua” which we thought was complimentary but was $5 each. I thought they meant like a pitcher of water for the table. They also have live Mariachi which gave it an extra special touch. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Great service.. Mario was amazing he came to check on us often. Food was great, drinks were good. Noise was Too loud at times. Not a fan of the light off and on when celebrating people’s birthday. Overall it was pretty good. I didn’t make it on time to see the Mariachi, there’s always a next time.

What an amazing experience! We went to celebrate my husband’s birthday and let me tell you that it turned out to be one hella of a night! They were amazing and super efficient at handling a big group, 20 people. Our friends left super happy and said nothing but great comments. For us, it was such a special night. Thank you Amores de Julia for an outstanding service! It was a fun night!

Our family made a reservation for a Birthday Celebration and it was an overall wonderful experience! Our server Juan was very attentive and patient. The food was exquisite! It is on the pricier side but totally worth it. Definitely a must for birthday celebrations! The ambiance is upbeat and we enjoyed the live Mariachi.

We had a good time. Food was great! Service was a bit slow and unattentive, took about 10 minutes to even be greeted by the server. It was a bit busy so maybe that’s why. Mariachi show was awesome! We would definitely come back!
