We have been going to Lord Fletcher’s for many years, but have been disappointed in our more recent couple of visits. Most recently, we were disappointed in two entrees. The walleye was rather wet, not light and flaky as it has been in the past. Lord Fletcher’s has set the standard for walleye in the past, but other restaurants have now surpassed. The dual chicken breast entrée was more salty than needed, dominating the taste of both the chicken and the accompanying grain salad. A well-prepared entrée should rely on the food items themselves and a mix of enhancers, not taste mostly like salt. We had a nice view from our table, but for more than 10 minutes, the roving magician was at the head of the table across from us. She talked so loud we needed to cease conversation at our table during most of her performance. The magician could be a nice touch, but not when it disrupts others. Our server was very good, knowledgeable and friendly.

Lord Fletcher's is a classic when it comes to celebrating special occasions! We requested and received a lake view table, which we much appreciate for this special anniversary. The "acclaimed" walleye dinner delivered as usual - a wonderful meal at a very special place!

Walleye Sunday night special was hot and delicious....also, my two birthday guests were given small complimentary wedge of mud pie with candle....server was excellent.

Upon entering the restaurant, the hostess had a mouthful of food and could not speak so just gestured for us to follow her. The food did not come out properly as ordered and multiple things were forgotten. The food mistakes were corrected after we called attention to them. The food did taste good and the ambience was nice, but we were still unhappy with the unprofessionalism and significant errors considering the amount of money we spent.

This was our first time here. Definitely not the typical Lord Fletchers experience, since this was a special Easter buffet - not the usual off the menu. Staff was very welcoming. Molly, our server, was top notch. She asked us if we’d been there. Explained the outdoor ambiance of the Ore House in season. She was very proactive with beverage refills which is always nice. Everything we tried from the buffet was very good.

My wife and daughter had the walleye dinner and I had the catfish. We all enjoyed the Lord Fletcher's salad with their house dressing. It's a classic and wonderful. The portions were generous and all food was excellent. The lobster mashed potatoes actually had pieces of lobster in it and was wonderful. We had an upstairs table by the window and enjoyed looking out on Lake Minnetonka in a very quiet setting. A thoroughly enjoyable time that we will certainly repeat.

The atmosphere is delightful especially know when you can look out over the water without a lot of boats. The angus burger was delicious, a real flavor sensation.

When we arrived, we were greeted right away. Very helpful staff and they knew of our reservation immediately. We then followed the host to our table that was ready to go but the table was way back in the corner right next to an exit door. One might look at that and say hey we'll be the first out, but it was a bit unsightly to be seated right next to a cold steel door. The waiter was very friendly and had most of the questions we had answered right away, he offered us bread to nibble on prior to the meal. I ordered a red wine that would pair well with my steak I ordered and off he went. Next thing we knew our meal was being brought out, probably 15-20 minutes, pretty normal. Still no bread. We were about a third the way through our meal and the waiter stopped back to check on us, at this time I mentioned that the bread never found its way to us, and my steak was partially eaten without that savory wine he told me about. Food was great, wine tasted great (when it finally arrived), and the bread was great (when it finally arrived), service could stand to level up. I work in the service industry and typically if you make a few mistakes which can happen the server usually buys your mistake for the inconvenience, not at Fletchers, you get charged for it ALL! We may find our way back because it was busy and the place is great, but we will explore other options prior to returning soon.

We love Lord Fletcher's Dinning Room. We celebrated Valentine's Day one day early. We always have great experience, including the setting (either lake view, or near the fire place), the service, food, and drinks.

My family and I absolutely adore Lord Fletcher's! It is a great place for groups, as well as quiet date nights. Any season, wharf, bar, or dining room, all areas are great. The food is wonderful, as is the service and ambiance. Thank you for being a true gift to the community! We will return for many more years and memories.

We ate here in off-peak season, indoors. Everything was spectacular and absolutely worth the price. The menu is a great mix of familiar favorites and eclectic alternative choices and both are delicious.

Lord Fletchers is a wonderful spot for a special winter dinner. We sat by the fireplace. It was cozy and warm. Our "bus person" was very nice and attentive and the waiter was great. We are so boring. We always have their walleye dinner. It is fabulous and an excellent value. It was my birthday and we shared a candle and a slice of mud pie!
