As a frequent diner living within the Keego/SYL Community…this by far was the most disappointing experience all around. Unless food quality improves, folks around here will not continue to eat at The Lodge. When you have a Loaded Tot dish with jarred/canned cheese, etc…YUCK! Also…one side veggie only? Broccoli? That’s it??? Not even roasted or prepared with some kind of flavor…appeared steamed or boiled…SERIOUSLY??? We support Local completely…we won’t be coming back anytime soon. Especially with Sylvan Table, Goomah, Live Bait, B1, Fork n Pint, etc…Much better options.

One of my favorite restaurants. The waitstaff is awesome, and the Monte Cristo is better than anywhere else!

Our sever was very good, however the food was underwhelming for the price and the bathrooms were dirty.

We have always loved the Lodge in our past visits. I felt the overall look has become a bit tired looking. One of our party had a mishap with a chair that was broken and she fell to the floor. During our visit several chairs were heard falling backwards with a loud bang. The food was with saving grace. I didn't notice much change with the new menu other than a small rise in prices. The fish and chips were excellent although the special "all you can eat" is no longer offered. The Cajun chicken sandwich was very good, although a bit messy to eat. The shrimp basket was also good. And as always, the french fries were excellent!

They have the best Monte Cristo and Garlic Parmesan fries anywhere! The Lodge is our favorite place. The waitstaff is the best, too!

New owners have done a nice job of freshening up the restaurant. It was clean and while the menu choices have not changed much the food seemed to be better quality. It would be nice to see a couple healthier options added such as a vegetarian burger or the homemade salmon burger that used to be on the menu several years ago. Some new creative options would be great too. Overall a good experience and the Lions won so there’s that!

We had a party of 4. Ribs and Quesadilla very good, fish and chips good, and Monte Cristo not very good. Liked the place but ,maybe because we asked for separate checks by couple , our friends 2 meals came 15 mins after ours. Waitress apologized and said Kitchen screwed up (?). So, no hurry to run right back.
