The restaurant is basically the lobby of the hotel. The restaurant is under construction and used to be on the top floor and this is a temporary fix. However, the menu is reduced to a few options, the prices have increased, and the seating is not meant for eating, but rather lounging. Our waiter was great, but the food was limited and not to the level that it should be for a $28.00 burger! I usually head to the W before going to Pantages; however, I will not be going back until they are more established and ready for a quality dining experience.

The newly remodeled lobby dining area (we were there in early March), is modern casual, but not really our cup of tea. It is awkward to dine at a coffee table, and we preferred when they had temporarily located to the top level of the hotel. Also, the menu was limited due to the recent reopening downstairs. We ordered a burger to share, medium rare, specifically requested it not be raw in the middle. It did arrive raw in the middle, but by the time the waiter came back to check on us, We had to move on and and eat it since we were headed to a show across the street. The fries were over salted, but nice and crisp. Otherwise, the service was good and the manager did come by also to apologize. A very pricey lunch that was disappointing and we will be waiting a while for things to get fully up to speed before we return.

The food was good but limited menu selection. The lounge is the dining room which is not ideal as we had to lean in to reach the table. Because it was a lounge we were seated near the door and there was a constant draft. Had to wear our coats the entire time.

The service was outstanding. From the friendly hosted to awesome server and two additional people who checked on me. They were consistently friendly, but not over doing it. Just genuinely good service. The food is just ok, not super flavorful. Ambience is great for a quick bite or drink.

We have always enjoyed dining at the W Hollywood whenever attending a show at the Pantages Theater located directly across the street. We absolutely love the new "Living Room". The entire staff, service, food and drinks were OUTSTANDING!!! Shout-out to Aron, Vladimir and our server Olive, she is a sweetheart! We can't wait to see you all again!

Thank you Shana for serving our family. Even though we were a group of 14, and we didn't all show up at the same time you served us with grace, kindness, compassion, and intelligence! I also want to thank the host for roping off a section for us even though we didn't arrive all at the same time. Shana, when you saved me from eating something that had a potential cross contamination with peanuts you exemplified how well you know your menu, food preparation, and passion for ensuring your guests have a good experience. Thank you so much! The food was very good and arrived quickly. And when it came to coordinating how to pay the bill, Shana came up with an intelligent system for us to pay the bill across multiple credit cards so that everyone only paid for what they ordered. It was a pleasure working with you. And you got us in and out in an 1 hour 15 mins for our night at the theater. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

We shared a chopped salad for lunch, with the generous portion being plenty for two. Outstanding service from Ana and the entire team! Definitely will be back!

Food was great, waitress was very accommodating but a little pushy when it came to adding drinks and alcohol. I asked for a Diet Coke and she asked if I first would like some water, I replied ‘sure’, she came with a bottle of Fiji water, opened it and poured it and charged me $8, I had been expecting tap water. That side was very disappointing and put a bit of a dampener on the overall experience.

My 9 year old daughter and I had lunch before a show at the Pantages. The menu is a bit pricey for the food options but the service was wonderful and view made it completely worth it.

The space was big and a bit awkward. The high top seats are tiny, uncomfortable and I was sliding off (and I’m not a big person). Ended up sitting at the bar which was better. Great service (Ty was our bartender) and great food! Wish we could see out the windows better but otherwise, decent spot.

The food was great but the service was exceptional . We made a reservation before going to the Pantages theatre and the staff made sure we weren’t rushed and made sure we go out in time. Usually I don’t comment on our restaurant experience but I had let be known how good the restaurant is thanks to the wait staff.

We love this place! Everytime we go to the Pantages this is our pre show stop for lunch. Portions are big, food is great and service is amazing! Highly recommend!

doing the best they can whilst under renovation. The food was excellent and the service was too. Super convenient to the Pantages theater therefore helping to create a fabulous date night. Wine list VERY limited due to the renovation, I believe so this was a little disappointing.

Big kudos to our waiter Josh. He was absolutely amazing and made our entire lunch. The view over Hollywood Blvd was beautiful and the food was terrific. Will definitely be going back again.

The W hotel is currently under renovation, so it was difficult to find the entrance. I knew in advance they automatically add a 17% to the bill, so I did not need to add a tip. To give you an idea of the cost (so you are prepared), my Thai chicken sandwich with lots if fries was delicious, plus I had 1 beer (Mocha stout) and my total came out to $47.40. Kind of an expensive lunch for an okay place. The positives: great views and excellent location, since we were going to a play at the Pantages across the street. Our server, Ana, was excellent.

Wasn’t impressed at all with the place. Loud….the place is like an echo chamber you can hear everything from everyone around you. Appetizers not good at all. Sour cream and onion dip with chips I think it was called was terrible dip was like milk not high at all. Brussels sprouts no flavor even with the bacon inside and the drinks were not good bartender forgot to put sugar around rim on lemon drop martini. Good bartender’s don’t forget how to make a drink. First time and last time here. And forget spending the night beds are horrible the mattress are way soft and there’s no box spring under mattress which seems like mattress is laying on floor we complained front desk about that..:: horrible. If it wasn’t for pantages theatre being across this place is the pits.

Food was great! Everyone was so helpful and nice. We were late due to terrible traffic. They got us right in, and our food was quick, we were still able to make it in time to the show at the Pantages! Our server was amazing and so friendly, I am terrible with remembering names though. Overall great experience, we will be back!

A mesmerizing dining experience. With stunning vistas spanning from Hollywood to Downtown LA, the ambiance is unparalleled. The service is exemplary, our server Andrew was knowledgeable attentive and warm. The food was a delight, each dish deliciously crafted. We were so captivated by the experience that we transitioned to the lounge, sinking into plush couches, while we had post-dinner cocktails and took in the breathtaking cityscape. I would say this is a wonderful place for date night, or if you have a small group. The only downside was the "under construction" state. But they did a commendable job minimizing the inconvenience.

Great place to go before catching the theater. Attentive service and great views. Brunch on Sunday is $42 per person but we opted to wait until 11 am to order off the menu. Fish tacos were very tasty but $26 for 3 small tacos seemed just a little steep. Champagne was $12 a glass. I'll certainly go back anytime I attend the Pantages.

The location is beautiful but they didn’t have 3 things we wanted in the menu and it was only 6:15. What we ordered was average and pricey, can’t be location though.

Service was great. Food was great. Restaurant was quiet enabling us to converse without shouting over the ambient noise. It was a clear, beautiful night so the views were wonderful.

Gorgeous/Iconic view; friendly and timely service. Perfect dining location if attending a play at the Pantages (which is right across the street). Just be sure to let hostess know that you're heading to a play.
