Since 2003, Little Ruby’s Cafe has brought Australian cafe culture to New York City, offering approachable all-day fare, specialty drinks, and a full coffee program. Open for brekkie, lunch and dinner 7 days a week, Little Ruby’s Cafe’s beloved menu features the signature burgers, pastas, salads and brunch classics, all served in thoughtfully designed spaces.

Located on the landmark corner of West 4th St & 7th Avenue, our newest Little Ruby’s Cafe features an airy, multi-level space. A first for Little Ruby’s, West Village offers a full bar with an exclusive cocktail program alongside our classic menu with new dishes unique to the location. With an expansive terrace and sweeping windows, the West Village restaurant invites guests to absorb the energy of the neighborhood as they enjoy their morning brekkie or grab cocktails and dinner with friends.

Opening October 2023. Little Ruby’s West Village will be open 7 days a week for brekkie, lunch and dinner.

    Cute and great restaurant in the heart of West Village. Great go to spot that I would recommend to anyone! My only gripe is that after you get your food, the waiters don’t really check in. Outside of that, it was a great experience as always!

    My boyfriend and I were very disappointed with Little Ruby’s in West Village. We made a reservation for 8.45pm and arrived at 8.40pm. We were told our table would be a 10 minute wait but ended up that we did not get seated until 9.10pm with no apologies from the staff. The waitress was friendly but did not take our order until 9.30pm. We got calamari to start which was nice, however we both ordered steak frites which was extremely disappointing. The steak was rubbery and though I asked for medium well, my steak was red and bloody. We only got a drip of pepper sauce on the side which was also shocking. Not one person asked us how our food was and we did not see our server after receiving our main course. Won’t be returning and extremely disappointed.

    Very disappointed in the lack of attention and service at this location. The East Village location is much better. We had to ask twice after 15 minutes of waiting to even place our order. Then our drinks never arrived. Tables are way to close to one another which makes it way to loud and distracting. I won't be going back to the West village location again!

    One of the best restaurant in nyc! Not so pricey too, good portion AND the food is just chef’s kiss!!

    Lots of delicious dishes. When we were last there the service was very lackadaisical.

    I liked the place and the food was pretty good. I got the toasted grain bowl and added chicken but the chicken was very dry. The other thing that bothered me was that we were a big group and we ordered many many lattes and coffees but, although the waiter offered several milk alternatives, we were never informed that there would be a $2 surcharge for every coffee and latte for oat or almond milk. I found about $20 in additional charges excessive. It's been years since I personally have seen $2 extra for a plant based milk.

    Seemed like a nice place but the server rushed us from the minute we sat down. Meal came before our drinks. Felt like I was in a fast food establishment.

    Always a good choice for food! Love this place. I usually go to the east village location and really loved the ambiance of this one
