Breighanna, Gabby, Kristi, and the entire Ruby’s East Village team are both bright, shining stars and beaming rays of light. Lunch today was absolutely delightful and I cannot wait to return for more good vibes. What a lovely day!

Very loud, good food at a very reasonable price. What was annoying was the service because they were rushing us, we were in and out soooo quickly, less than an hour from sitting to paying. We didn’t put a card down with the receipt yet, so we could finish our cocktails and the waiter kept coming over and wanted us to leave.

Delicious food. Clean. Everyone was accommodating. Pleasant attitude. Love the new sidewalk tables’ “floor” allowing for chairs and tables to be even keeled. Will def return for more.

Delicious restaurant. The music was too loud through. The place gives off an intimate vibe but the music was the opposite to that. Really felt like i was yelling across the table. My nephew has sensory noise issues and he had a hard time being in there. It’s a cafe, we assumed the vibe would be more relaxed like the pictures showed. The food was delicious and we’ll definitely go back, but we just wish it was more relaxed opposed to so loud.

They served us a complete raw patty inside of the bronte burger and did not comp the dish.

Food is fantastic. Service is excellent. To constantly have the front door open and close in 35 degree weather is disturbing. Cannot enjoy a table by the front foor. Find a way to fix it.

Little Ruby’s was great. As with many NYC restaurants you’re in close proximity to other diners but the noise level was still under control. I made the reservation the day before and had no problem getting in to catch up with a friend I hadn’t seen in awhile. Reasonable wine selection and a nice meal that came out quickly. Would visit again!

Not accommodating for dinner for dairy free. Server told me multiple times I could order something that had butter in it, so they weren’t even accurate, and then couldn’t accommodate by cooking specific easy things (chicken, shrimp) not in cream or butter. Don’t even have a regular marinara sauce without cream. Salad was the only df option for dinner or a burger in a lettuce wrap. At that point, I wouldn’t even trust that the burger wouldn’t have butter. Margarita was fine, nothing crazy, and served in a plain mason jar. They seated us, then asked us to move to another table and said they mistakenly sat us there. Overall - poor experience.

Food always great. Some of the staff at this location seemed either out of it or are putting on a blasé attitude for the vibe? Either way, it’s pretty condescending and makes us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome being there so we were out of there in 30 minutes.

Ate outside in “heated” terrace that wasn’t actually heated so we were freezing. Waitress barely came back to check on my table and the one next to ours. Ruby’s food is always good but the service was awful. I can understand a busy holiday but it really dampened the experience.
