Housed in a shipping container behind Platform Two of the old Folkestone Harbour Station, Little Rock is a spectacular new beachside restaurant just off the boardwalk before the entrance to Folkestone Harbour Arm. Explore the stunning indoor and outdoor dining spaces. Proud to serve fresh, local and seasonal fish and seafood, supplied straight from the day boats operating out of Folkestone Harbour and the surrounding Hythe Bay area.

Little Rock is a short walk away from the large Folkestone Harbour Arm car park. This is on the site of the old harbour port and currently costs £3.40 for up to 2 hours and then £1.70 per hour for up to 8 hours. All day parking (over 8 hours) costs £14. Prices subject to change.

The nearest train station is Folkestone Central. Little Rock is approximately a 25-minute walk following signs for Folkestone Harbour Arm.There is a bus stop at the bottom of the Old High Street serviced by Stagecoach buses 72, 100, 101 and 102. Folkestone’s main bus station is in the centre of town, approximately a 15 minute walk away.

visited this restaurant again with friends and had a wonderful evening. Service was prompt and welcoming, food was very good and was great value for money along with a buzzy atmosphere, will definitely return

We booked an early table for dinner, the asparagus starter with fried egg was very tasty, we all chose different fish from the catch of the day- each was perfectly cooked to our individual preferences, fresh and well presented. Great service, thank you.

I love it here. Today I tried something new - the seafood salad. It was lovely and there was loads of fish but only lettuce. In my experience salad normally means more than lettuce. So a little disappointing. Having said that the place is amazing and the weather was nice enough for us to sit outside. Finally the wonderful Casha was there and served us and she is wonderful and charming and sincere - an asset to the company.

This delightful beachside restaurant is well worth a visit. Food is excellent, fresh ,and,delicious . Exactly what you would expect at the seaside. Love coming here on a sunny day.

This is one of my fav place to eat in Folkestone, it’s delicious and most of the menu is naturally gluten free. The price is reasonable for the quality.

Upon arrival you are greeted by friendly and attentive staff. We sat by a table near the window looking out onto Folkestone beach which was lovely. The decor is themed beautifully, with a wall decorated with oyster shells. The food came out on time and they accommodated for my 4 year old son, he loved the cod cheeks and chips. Our starters of scallops were fresh and very flavoursome, cooked to perfection. Followed by mussels in the most delicious and delicate creamy tarrogan sauce. The price was quite high, however, the ingredients were fantastic and worth the money.

First time visiting after recommendations from friends. Great fish selection from the catch if the day and so refreshing to have the options presented as to how we wanted it cooked. Excellent food and variety. Easily up there with the best seafood restaurants in Kent. The location is great and on a sunny day, which we had, was fabulous.

Buzzy restaurant. Staff excellent, food really fresh and different. We travelled 50 miles and it was worth it. The seaside setting even the music in the background was part of the atmosphere.

Lovely little restaurant, small but high quality menu, sea views, fair prices, great service. A little quiet but we were early 5:30ish. Will definitely be going back.

Absolutely fantastic meal the starter special of the day asparagus set the tone and the lovely seabream perfectly cooked.One of our party had the Huss which was equally as well cooked with light tasty batter and the others had the mussels which they both enjoyed,my wife famously doesn’t have the biggest appetite but even she finished her main and starter and even found room for the mojito cheesecake.The staff were fantastic,quick,bright and friendly and well informed.We will be back !

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal except the brown butter wasn't that. There was no colour to it. Just melted butter with capers.

I love the intimacy of Little Rock. I have eaten both inside and out. Glorious outside in high summer, marvellous indoors when it’s too breezy. The food is so tasty, full of flavour and not too much on the plate. It was my friends birthday and for dessert he was presented with a delicious sorbet boule and a message written in chocolate on a plate. He was thrilled! It’s literally on the beach. I love it!

Second visit to this wonderful little restaurant with exceptional delicious fresh fish dishes you must book so many people bring turned away they could fill the restaurant three times over! Service is exceptional not one bad review love it!

Our second time dining here, it's always a great experience and the staff are super friendly. It was my birthday and the happy birthday sorbet was a lovely touch and surprise. Fresh seasonal food, delicious sea food and the spumante sparkling wine was a highlight. Thank you for a perfect birthday lunch!

Always enjoyed and recommend Little Rock on a number of occasions and frequently visited. However, really disappointed when visited in evening of 6th April. The lady waitress was so incredibly moody, unwelcoming and rude. It was like a scene from Fawlty Towers and Basil Fawlty. This service actually ruined our Saturday evening and dining experience. I think that she forgot that actually paying customers helps generate income for the restaurant to exist…

Delicious excellently cooking pan fried Lemon sole, very tasty squid stew, exceptionally good service. Booking essential as so many people were turned away! Lovely birthday surprise with free glass of bubbly recommended loved it!!

We booked for lunch Good Friday. We were the third table to be filled but the lunch took one and a half hours! There were only two people serving and two cooking. This is is usually a place with excellent service, good food and a pleasant ambiance. Piped music has suddenly been introduced which made the restaurant like a cheap bar.

This was our second visit to Little Rock. It is a fantastic restaurant with lovely sea views and great food. The staff are always friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. We had a lovely evening the mains in particular were amazing. Our only small negative was that we all thought that although lovely, the starters were overpriced for what you get. That being said we will be back!

Extremely delicious food, wonderful service, lovely atmosphere. A favourite spot for lunch on a sunny day. Catch of the day with brown butter and capers is always my go to favourite dish. This time I went for Mackerel which was divine.

My husband and I had such a lovely meal at Little Rock. We shared a seafood platter, which was amazing, with some bubbles. As it was my husband's birthday, the staff brought him a little surprise dessert, which was really tasty. The service was great from start to finish and all the staff were so friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back xxx

Little Rock is a short walk away from the large Folkestone Harbour Arm car park. This is on the site of the old harbour port and currently costs £3.40 for up to 2 hours and then £1.70 per hour for up to 8 hours. All day parking (over 8 hours) costs £14. Prices subject to change.

Little Rock is approximately a 25-minute walk following signs for Folkestone Harbour Arm.There is a bus stop at the bottom of the Old High Street serviced by Stagecoach buses 72, 100, 101 and 102. Folkestone’s main bus station is in the centre of town, approximately a 15 minute walk away.
