Housed in a shipping container behind Platform Two of the old Folkestone Harbour Station, Little Rock is a spectacular new beachside restaurant just off the boardwalk before the entrance to Folkestone Harbour Arm. Explore the stunning indoor and outdoor dining spaces. Proud to serve fresh, local and seasonal fish and seafood, supplied straight from the day boats operating out of Folkestone Harbour and the surrounding Hythe Bay area.

    Little Rock is a short walk away from the large Folkestone Harbour Arm car park. This is on the site of the old harbour port and currently costs £3.40 for up to 2 hours and then £1.70 per hour for up to 8 hours. All day parking (over 8 hours) costs £14. Prices subject to change.

    The nearest train station is Folkestone Central. Little Rock is approximately a 25-minute walk following signs for Folkestone Harbour Arm.There is a bus stop at the bottom of the Old High Street serviced by Stagecoach buses 72, 100, 101 and 102. Folkestone’s main bus station is in the centre of town, approximately a 15 minute walk away.

    visited this restaurant again with friends and had a wonderful evening. Service was prompt and welcoming, food was very good and was great value for money along with a buzzy atmosphere, will definitely return

    We booked an early table for dinner, the asparagus starter with fried egg was very tasty, we all chose different fish from the catch of the day- each was perfectly cooked to our individual preferences, fresh and well presented. Great service, thank you.

    I love it here. Today I tried something new - the seafood salad. It was lovely and there was loads of fish but only lettuce. In my experience salad normally means more than lettuce. So a little disappointing. Having said that the place is amazing and the weather was nice enough for us to sit outside. Finally the wonderful Casha was there and served us and she is wonderful and charming and sincere - an asset to the company.

    This delightful beachside restaurant is well worth a visit. Food is excellent, fresh ,and,delicious . Exactly what you would expect at the seaside. Love coming here on a sunny day.

    This is one of my fav place to eat in Folkestone, it’s delicious and most of the menu is naturally gluten free. The price is reasonable for the quality.

    Upon arrival you are greeted by friendly and attentive staff. We sat by a table near the window looking out onto Folkestone beach which was lovely. The decor is themed beautifully, with a wall decorated with oyster shells. The food came out on time and they accommodated for my 4 year old son, he loved the cod cheeks and chips. Our starters of scallops were fresh and very flavoursome, cooked to perfection. Followed by mussels in the most delicious and delicate creamy tarrogan sauce. The price was quite high, however, the ingredients were fantastic and worth the money.

    First time visiting after recommendations from friends. Great fish selection from the catch if the day and so refreshing to have the options presented as to how we wanted it cooked. Excellent food and variety. Easily up there with the best seafood restaurants in Kent. The location is great and on a sunny day, which we had, was fabulous.

    Buzzy restaurant. Staff excellent, food really fresh and different. We travelled 50 miles and it was worth it. The seaside setting even the music in the background was part of the atmosphere.
