We hope to be that third place for you to gather and catch up over a delicious meal and craft cocktails.
Owned and operated by the friendly and energetic couple, Owen and Mindi McGlynn of Asheville Proper, they wanted to create an inviting and easygoing space just for locals, located in North Asheville, away from the hustle and bustle of downtown life.

Four people, four different meals,four excellent reviews. Wagyu beef, scallops, pasta with mushrooms, and red snapper. No one wanted to trade. The focaccia was fabulous. Can’t think of a thing I’d want to change.

We are from out of town and last visited one year ago. It was even better than we remembered. Phenomenal meal, will definitely be back! Highly recommend.

Delicious meal at Little D's. We had 4 small plates: beets with goat cheese, Mars Hill mushrooms, scallops with risotto, pork ribs. Nuanced and elevated flavored. Lovely Sauvignon Blanc to pair. Attentive and helpful service. Gorgeous dining room. The beets were my favorite. A special place worthy of special occasions or just a regular date night.

Usually a 5/5, tonite’s meal was 4/5 only because of one entree, the wagyu dry aged special tri cut steak at $55 was a total loss, tough and chewy, and did not finish. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. The remainder of the meal was excellent as always.? Will I go back ……… absolutely. It’s one of the best Asheville has to offer!
