For over 40 years, our family has served traditional Cantonese food and dim sum to generations of devoted customers. We’re proud to continue that tradition, while at the same time, making it our own.

For centuries, it has been Chinese custom to pair dim sum’s delicious bite-size dumplings, buns and other small snacks with freshly brewed tea for morning and mid-afternoon meals. This pairing led to the expression “yum cha,” which not only means “to drink tea,” but also symbolizes getting together with friends and family.

At Little Bird, we’re starting our own tradition. We believe that “yum cha” means getting together with friends and family for dim sum at any time. Not just paired with aromatic teas, but also amazing local craft beers and wines.

We were visiting from Winnipeg and were looking for a place for five of us for dim sum for dinner and found Little Bird. This was some of the best dim sum we have ever had and the craft beer was excellent and ice cold too. The portions were a good size. One order of sticky rice was plenty for two of us. We got a large variety of dim sum and none disappointed us. We also had the egg tart for dessert ....a must! Lastly the service was great 👍

Always amazing food. Great value. Small space so noise volumes very. Definitely a neighborhood gem.

Very nice experience at Little Bird. Service was good and friendly. Food was tasty. Avoid the ribs. Otherwise, very good dim sum and a unique concept.

Excellent dim sum, with a few twists but still traditional and authentic. A very small place, a bit loud with a table of 8 next to us, but still loved it. Would absolutely go back

The staff are very kind and welcoming! The serving sizes may seem small, but they're quite filling and good value.

Great food prepared and served by great people. Small place so things can be a little tight. I could pretty much tell you all about the women’s life sitting next to me, the high and low lights. Hi pitched and loud. Still she couldn’t ruin a great food experience.

We enjoyed the patio despite the loud noises from nearby construction site. Not the restaurant’s fault.

So happy I finally made it out. I've been wanting to go to this restaurant for some time now, and it didn't disappoint. Would've loved to have tried everything, but only went with the signature dishes this time. All of them were excellent. I can't wait to come back and try the things I didn't.
