our family of 5 had an extremely pleasant dinner at Lirica. the service was outstanding which always enhances everything-food, ambience, and noise level.

Food was just OK, and was like warm when served. Also, we advised server that we were going to the Shakespeare Theater, and we were supposed to receive a 20% discount for our meal, but did not receive, which was my fault in part, because we were running late and I forgot to bring up again.

Prix Fixe meal was subpar. Ingredients were not high quality.

We enjoyed the house salad with chicken and with shrimp (2 of us). The shrimp was well-grilled, and it was all very tasty. The salad would have done better on a larger plate; it was too large for the plate but, otherwise, very fresh and good.

Awful simply awful. .we were rushed. They pressured us to hurry our experience. If I wanted fast food, I would have eaten at MCDonalds!!!they Wouldn’t let us have dessert. I’ve never experienced such a rude restaurant manager. For a restaurant adjacent to a hotel and next to a theatre in the busiest tourist destination in Chicago, I was shocked at our experience there and will never go back, and tell my friends who go to the Shakespeare theater to eat anywhere else but there!!!!

Food good. Martini was overpriced and mediocre in quality and presentation. Server was congenial and efficient.

Delicious food, great service and an amazing view! These all made for a delightful pre-theatre dining experience. The nachos are amazing. The chicken with sauce was full of flavors.

We decided to try Lirica because we were attending a play at Chicago Shakespeare later on. The Service and food were great and not overpriced. That said, they knew we were going to a play and did not offer the 20% discount I later found on the Chicago Shakespeare website which partners with Lirica. Also, because we parked in self parking near Lirica (handicapped zone because we are), the fee to park was $15 more than if we parked at Shakespeare lot, even though Lirica stamped our parking pass.

Quite noisy inside but we were able to get a table outside, where it was lovely. Both food and drink were tasty, particularly the seared white fish served with black linguine and 3 mussels.
