Linger, le deuxième concept derrière Root Down du chef/Propriétaire Justin Cucci, est situé dans le quartier de Lower Highlands de Denver. Le menu de Linger reflète une grande sensibilité pour la farm-to-street avec une touche pour la nourriture ethnique traditionnelle. Les éléments design peuvent être décrits comme une contradiction délibérée avec les planchers de bois franc, l'ellipse de brique, le bar du Lite Brite et ses fenêtres à débordement avec une vue incroyable sur le centre-ville de Denver. Wow! This place was incredible. Came for a late brunch. Right when you walk in the smell of the food is just amazing. Our server Xander was very helpful - we especially appreciated how he coursed everything out perfectly and pre-split a couple things we had ordered for sharing. This is reaching, but some constructive feedback for management would be that they were a little slow to bus and reset tables. We had a reservation, showed up exactly on time, and still had to wait a little over 5 minutes to be sat. Coffee was lukewarm as well. This did not at all deter us from wanting to visit again and we look forward to trying dinner soon.

Cool space but bathrooms not kept. Toilets don’t flush. Server forgot simple things like refilling water and food item ordered. Honestly no one working there smiled, not the hosts, servers or managers walking the floor, so weird. Food was ok, sauces heavy handed- Korean bbq was just Hoisin sauce, the best thing was the drinks who ever made the old fashion rocked. They get away with that because it’s “Linger”. Seemed irritated that we were there. My boyfriend said not to tip but I still did, 20%.

Amazing food and great service. It is a louder place, especially right by the open kitchen, but nothing that would keep me from returning.

First time at Linger for Brunch, and it was delicious. I really want to commend Xander for his superb service. Such an awesome sever and very helpful in suggesting bites. Will be back for sure and will always request Xander!

Another good time at Linger! We had a brunch gathering where I had the Dungeness crab burrito, which was delicious. Excellent mimosas as well…Linger remains a local favorite.

Location is nice, service was great, food very average, Asian food options with tiny portions for expensive price, would’ve been better to go to Mizu down the street for more authentic taste and better options

Delicious food with great vegetarian options. Beautiful atmosphere. We are from out of state and met three friends who live locally, they will all be returning. Delicious drinks as well.

We went for dinner and had several dishes, tapas style. Nearly all were very good. The sliders were great, the pad thai we didn't like. This may sound strange, but we didn't really like the dining chairs that had a large armrest on one side, and no armrest on the other. It's a little pricey, but not unreasonable for this day and age. We will go back, but likely for a drink and appetizer rather than a whole meal.

IT WAS AWESOME! We had a group of 6 of us, so we got to try lots of dishes, and there wasn’t a bad one in the bunch! The Korean tacos and the beef skewer were highlights for me. The waiter was great, but not on top the that drinks- we had to ask to order more and get refills on the waters. But she was very kind and knowledgeable, and that certainly didn’t take away from the amazing experience!

It was disappointing. Showed up 10 minutes early for the reservation, was seated 10 minutes late. No big deal there but it took a good 15 minutes for someone to greet us and bring water, over 40 minutes for a round of drinks, another 40 minutes for food. We didn’t dare order more because we didn’t want to be there for 3 more hours and the service killed the mood. Meanwhile the table next to us got great service, drinks and food flowing no problem, same waitress. She was somewhat short with us from the minute we sat down, not really sure what her problem was. Food was good (sliders, potstickers, satay, tacos, egg rolls) but the service totally killed it.

Excellent food and service (thank you Michaela) at a reasonable price. Menu has unique and flavorful selections. Venue is also unique and very nice without being pretentious. Great place for a casual lunch or brunch. Haven't tried for dinner yet.

The service was quite slow last night. Food was good, the sliders were a bit underdone. We did have several people in our group that were late, but it still took 30 minutes to get a drink! There is also a 5% fee for “fair wages” on top of every drink and app being around $20… you should pay your workers adequately or build it into your already expensive menu prices instead of passing it on to the consumer. Overall okay experience, we probably will not be back.

They’re accommodating with dietary restrictions, allowing substitutions on many dishes. I opted for the Korean Kimchee tofu bao bun instead of the chicken, I always appreciate restaurants who have options for everyone. The wok charred edamame was a standout, elevating a simple dish with fantastic flavors. The skewer and lettuce wraps offered a variety of protein options; we chose the shrimp and were not disappointed. The salmon tostadas were also a highlight — they have some really fresh seafood.

Our food was great and our server was fantastic! Christina took great care of us. We were there celebrating a birthday and I’m glad we went there. Was an hour commute for us but, worth it!!

We had the Bao Bun Trio which was amazing. My favorite was the chicken, with the duck coming in second. My girlfriend enjoyed the Pork Belly. We also had the Korean BBQ Tacos and the Lemon Grass Potstickers 🥟. I would rate the tacos as decent but not spectacular. The Lemon Grass Potstickers are hands down the best potstickers I have ever had. Our server was kind and attentive. Noise levels started off moderate but once the dining room filled up it became very energetic. Looking forward to going back once the rooftop opens back up.

This was my third visit here. Usually love it but service was quite slow. Not sure if you were understaffed. Took 20 minutes to get water. 3 different dishes came out before our cocktails arrived. One of the bartenders looked like he was doing nothing while talking to some patrons so not sure why our drinks couldn’t come out faster. Whenever we needed our server they were no where to be found. A bit of disappointing experience especially since this is my go to place to take family visiting.

Made a reservation for 7:45 for two people, arrived on time and was told they were running 10 minutes behind, which I understood and patiently waited. When I started seeing and overhearing caucasian couples come in asking for a table with no reservation, and being seated right away I asked the host she said, in a rude manner and racist tone, they were waiting for tables to clear up when I could see atleast three tables empty. We were sat at 8:35. This place was recommended to me, so we decided to try it but definitely will not be going back because of the service we received. Being the first people you see when walking into a restaurant and representing it, they should be taught to treat everyone equally and respect reservations. Food was mediocre.

I have always enjoyed coming here and brought in 3 new patrons with me. Thing is. The menu seems a little tired and lacking innovation. I am not sure that the value and creativity is still there. Cocktails are well priced and my guests definitely enjoyed the food experience. It’s still great but I felt I had done it all before.
