the service and food were excellent. the servers were very professional and attentive. we celebrated father’s day here and enjoyed the sunny view of the water. we all felt special.

**Divine Food, Disappointing Service** The food at Limani DC was absolutely divine, and the Sunday brunch, priced at $55 per person, was worth every penny. Even vegetarians found plenty of options, given the Mediterranean cuisine's abundant seafood selections. The restaurant was beautifully decorated, and the ambience by the water made for a perfect Sunday outing. Unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. The hosts were snobbish, which was disappointing for a high-end establishment. They were rude and made faces when we asked about the wait time, despite our reservation being for 1:15 PM. We arrived at 1:05 PM and weren't seated until 1:28 PM. Our server was equally disappointing. From the moment we were seated, he was neither cordial nor welcoming. We waited over 30 minutes for our à la carte egg dishes, even after reminding him. Drinks arrived well into the brunch, and it felt as if he couldn't care less about our presence. There was hardly a smile throughout our meal. The worst part was when we ordered Greek waffles and, despite reminding him at least five times, they never arrived. Even after complaining to the manager (Fernando) , nothing was done. When we mentioned this to our server as we were leaving, he simply shrugged and said, "I don't know, but I told them," then turned away. For a brunch costing $180 for two people (including a 20% service charge automatically added to the check) and one drink, the lack of hospitable service was unacceptable.

The good..the decor. It’s very nicely decorated. The menu options are abundant. There’s a lot to choose from. The prices are extremely exorbitant, even if you’re considering this fine dining. The food quality is definitely not what I would consider worthy of fine dining.

My group was especially pleased with service and insisted on adding to the 20 percent service charge.

Definitely Uber- Parking was awful. Hostess said folks are often/always really late for their reservations. View from the penthouse was awesome. DJ up there was fun and not too rowdy for our 40+ year old selves… at one point they turned on bright LED lights that didn’t work and we asked if they could turn them down - luckily they had lovely string lights they turned on and that was perfect. The shrimp saganaki was fantastic as was the tasting plate of 4 spreads- red pepper hummus by far the best. Wasn’t served with enough pita bread pieces & we had to request refills. Overall truly a great evening.

Great food, good service, and the cutest space! Highly recommend!! We tried Limani for dinner and it did not disappoint. We made reservations a couple hours before on a Friday night, no issues getting a table. We were seated on time on the upper level right at the start of sunset. Beautiful views of the wharf and the boats. We ordered drinks, I was a little disappointed they didn't have the Albariño but found an alternative. Cocktails and mocktails were really good. Do yourself a favor and order the ceviche and have an open mind. It's Mediterranean so the flavor profile is different but it was excellent. We also tried the squid, beet salad, salmon, scallops. Out first visit will not be our last. Food prepared extremely well. Quality ingredients and strict attention to detail. Only negative is our food was not hot. We spoke to the manager and our concerns were addressed.
