    Limani is superb! Service, menu choices, food, cocktails, decor & the view of DC's wharf are all incredible!! Definitely a return visit is warranted!

    Limani was amazing. The service was the best I’ve had in a long time and the food was unbelievable. I already made a reservation for when my family comes to visit.

    Ambience is terrific. On the water, overlooking the marina at sunset. The service is excellent, but the food was a little brand (it lack something). It could be that we choose to have our Branzino grilled instead of salted baked (grilled took 1/2 hour, salted baked 1 hour) we were hungry and didn’t wanted to wait. Will try again in the future and order in advance, if permitted.

    The waiter did not have accurate information about some of the ingredients regarding allergens. Of the items took incredibly long to arrive. It was good, atmosphere beautiful, but value was tough.

    the service and food were excellent. the servers were very professional and attentive. we celebrated father’s day here and enjoyed the sunny view of the water. we all felt special.

    The staff here was truly wonderful. From the hostess to the serving team. This was the classiest buffet brunch I've been too. Top notch to - who I'm think was one of the chefs - who came by our table and folded my husbands napkin while he was away! Wonderful ambience on the waterfront. We'll definitely return.

    **Divine Food, Disappointing Service** The food at Limani DC was absolutely divine, and the Sunday brunch, priced at $55 per person, was worth every penny. Even vegetarians found plenty of options, given the Mediterranean cuisine's abundant seafood selections. The restaurant was beautifully decorated, and the ambience by the water made for a perfect Sunday outing. Unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. The hosts were snobbish, which was disappointing for a high-end establishment. They were rude and made faces when we asked about the wait time, despite our reservation being for 1:15 PM. We arrived at 1:05 PM and weren't seated until 1:28 PM. Our server was equally disappointing. From the moment we were seated, he was neither cordial nor welcoming. We waited over 30 minutes for our à la carte egg dishes, even after reminding him. Drinks arrived well into the brunch, and it felt as if he couldn't care less about our presence. There was hardly a smile throughout our meal. The worst part was when we ordered Greek waffles and, despite reminding him at least five times, they never arrived. Even after complaining to the manager (Fernando) , nothing was done. When we mentioned this to our server as we were leaving, he simply shrugged and said, "I don't know, but I told them," then turned away. For a brunch costing $180 for two people (including a 20% service charge automatically added to the check) and one drink, the lack of hospitable service was unacceptable.

    We loved the appetizer (zucchini and eggplant with fried cheese) and the dessert (pavlova: ice cream with meringue), but the kitchen ruined our main courses. My wife and I both ordered medium-rare grilled lamb chops. My chops were medium and my wife's were well-done. We ate a bit and complained to the waiter, who offered to have the kitchen re-do them. We didn't want to wait for that, so he took our dishes back and didn't charge for them. That was gracious, though of course making us pay for a poorly-cooked dish would have added insult to injury. A better idea would be to get the kitchen up to speed on grilling lamb to diners' taste.
