The octpus was delicious! The best combination of texture and flavor. The hostess is very attentive. The desert selection is HUGE and very yummy, not too sweet!

The staff was marvelous! So warm and welcoming and accommodating. Wonderful to interact with servers and other staff from Greece (Crete). Extensive and healthy menu with lots of wonderful vegetable sides and generous portion sizes. Everything was cooked perfectly-seared tuna with medium rare center, unbelievably tender octopus (the best I have EVER had, and I order it frequently), crisp greens (horta), slightly crisped sautéed mushrooms. We were very late and the staff was very kind and reassured that they could serve us-even on a Friday night. Highly recommend.

Overall experience was excellent. Our server, Rebecca was excellent. However, when we went at 4 pm, there wasn't anyone at the reception to great guests so had get their attention to be seated. I'm sure when it gets crowded later, there will be someone at the reception to greet customers. Also, when ordering the lobster, no tools were provided such as a nut cracker or small fork to get the meat out of the shell. My mother-in-law had to use her hands, which was fine but when we asked for a wet towel, the server brought a wet paper towel. In New England, we're used to eating lobsters with our hand so at other restaurants, they have prepared the right tools and wet towels. Legal Sea Food provided a napkin wrapped around a lemon for their after dinner wipes.

We came in for mothers day dinner last night. It took close to 2.5 hours for us to serve us dinner. They had to change 3 times my order because they runout of food. I had to ask 4 times for bread, water, lemon for the water. Even at the end, the owner asked me about my experience, I told her and she offered to treat us for free desert. I agreed. It took over 45 minutes to bring us a desert. We just wanted to leave. When we got the check, deserts were included in the bill. We were too tired to dispute it. I understand they were busy due to mother's day but We came to celebrate my mother day and it got completely ruined. I will not go there again and do not recommend it to my friends ad acquaintances.

Another outstanding meal at Limani. All of our meals were delicious and the service was great! And loved my Petalouda cocktail - so unique and yummy. Zoey, the manager, was lovely and stopped by our table several times to check on everything. Can't wait to return!

Another lovely meal with the family today at Limani 👍 food is always fresh and top quality We tried the fried kaseri cheese and mushroom appetizer for the first time and we all enjoyed them a lot .. my Loup de Mer fish dish was so tender , juicy and fresh tasting —yummy! Our server Maggie was super kind and attentive And the cocktails Dimani made us- oh scrumptious Of course the manager made sure everything was perfect as well I love the ambiance in this place can’t wait to go back

Food was OK, not great, too expensive for the quality. The main and the veggie side were served luke warm. Waiter was attentive. Hostess needed some charm lessons: when we came in, her initial greeting was something like "We're busy tonight, so you'll need to relinquish your table in 90 minutes". So we kind of felt like we were rushed. The food was slow to come out, so we didn't have time to order dessert. All in all a disappointing experience.

The waiter did a really good job in guiding us on what to order. We had a grilled fish that is native to Greece. It was outstanding. The greek tomato salad was really good.

Pleasant meal and main courses very good-Halibut, Swordfish and lambchops. The side dishes however were way over salted- Mezze, Calamari, and Mushrooms. So much salt in Mezze that they all tasted the same to me, but other 3 people felt less strong about this.

I was a little disappointed with the food considering the prices. We also had a reservation made a few weeks in advance and ended up being sat in the bar side rather than the dining room which was also disappointing

Three in our arty had lamb chops—all satisfied. One person had lamb shank, not as good as it had been in a prior visit. The fifth person had pastiche—did not look attractive but was “not bad for flavor. Appiiizers were OK. We had a good time, but prefer the restaurant on non holiday occasions.

I enjoyed my time at Limani! So many options and exquisite greek cuisine. I Would recommend the Limani Chips and the Greek Tomato Salad is a must have. The server I had was wonderful! Great charm and service.

Very over priced. Lamb overcooked and bland. Forgot our sides. Tomato salad ok. Octopus good. Cocktails good. Deconstructed baklava a bad comedy as waitress came over to smash it into what looked like cereal after. Taste ok. A custard we had was not great. Nothing special about this restaurant but meal cost a lot.

Love this restaurant but was not its best last night. Totally apathetic (actually borderline rude) waiter. Service was overall poor. However, manager excellent. Food was cold and fish, though asked for filleted, was full of bones.

Took family again to Limani. Food and drinks are always excellent. The Limani Chips are to die for — the fish dishes too — and my son loves the lamb chops. Deconstructed baklava is also amazing. Servers so friendly. We were pleasantly surprised by the excellent jazz band upstairs — the atmosphere is so perfect for that music. Place has a great high end vibe. Love it.

The staff was really nice . I did get there late for my birthday, but they still seen us. Everything overall was good. I did overhear the chef upset regarding a friend of mine placing her order late , which I completely understand but we were sitting right in front of where he was cooking , I did not find that professional. I still had a good time , and really do recommend the restaurant. It was very beautiful inside, overall a good experience.

As always, food was delicious. Zoi is a great manager, she goes each table asks if everyone is happy with their experience. The staff, they’re the friendliest in town. Will definitely go back again.

Limani wins on all fronts. It is a beautiful setting with lots of light (windows). There was a man playing a greek banjo who was great. The food is excellent and the service is even better.

Me and my bestie feel SUPER happy! Not only the food is AMAZING delicious, but also the service is GREAT! Actually today is my bestie’s birthday, they are singing birthday song to us and multiples times to ask about how’s the food and say “Happy Birthday” to her.

We have had quite a few meals at Limani in Chestnut Hill, and have always been completely satisfied with the food and the experience. This visit was for a special birthday, and though the service was excellent, we were both very disappointed in our meals. With the exception of the LImani chips, which were delicious, our food was bland and unremarkable. The presentation of my halibut dish was elementary - something that I could have done at home in my own kitchen. My husband's lamb shank was flavorless, and slightly overcooked. Sadly, we will take Limani off our list of "go-to" places for a high end, delicious meal...and we will no longer recommend this restaurant to friends.

Enjoyed lunch with clients. Started with appetizers consisting of their Greek Spread, fresh Calamari, and Lamani Chips. For the main lunch, we had the Red Snapper ... grilled and very moist with Tomato Salad. So full we almost didn't order dessert but made a wise choice to split a Chocolate Souflee. On a scale of 1-10 ... everything was a 15 for sure.

This was a birthday dinner, and from seating to the delicious slice of walnut cake with a bit of ice cream (and a candle and subtle singing!!!) with which the meal ended (a surprise, BTW), Limani more than lived up to our high expectations. The food was delicious, the service terrific, and the whole experience pretty much the high point of the honoree’s day. I’ll go back for any of it, and I will be dreaming of the tzatziki, the avgolemono, and the pastitsio for a long time to come. And the loup de mer was outstanding!! Thank you, Limani!!!

Has a lot of potential but menu is limited and food can vary. Traditional greek appetizers not that great. Calamari average. Probably not go there, unless they change chef.

All our dishes were delicious from the salads to the apps and the main courses. Service was top notch. Beautiful restaurant.
