Last Saturday, my good friend and I enjoyed a delicious lunch from their prefix special. Together we shared the greek tomato salad and the spreads. She enjoyed her chicken souvlaki and i tried the salmon souvlaki for the first time. I asked for medium well, but next time I will ask for medium as I think that it would have been even better that way ( more moist). Also, as a side note the salmon marinade to my surprise was not salty (so i would imagine this is a good choice for those who watch their cholesterol). The dish was also accompanied perfectly cooked white rice and grilles pita bread (which was soo yummy) and their authentic tzakiki sauce. We ended our meals with dessert,.she got the sorbet and I the karidopita..and it was delicious! For a three course meal, good ambience and the best of company you cannot beat the daily Lunch prefix special at Limani.

2nd time trying it. First time was so so. Decided to give it a try again. Disappointed. Food just not up to par. Nice place and good ambiance, reasonable service but food just bland and poorly prepared, Tuna way overcooked- tasted like chicken. Way too expensive for what it is. Dinner for 6 was 400+ without any drinks or deserts. Several other places provide better value and food.

The fried eggplant appetizer was great, as was the baked lobster. The lamb chops were well done and very little seasoning. The duck was well done when we asked for it to be rare.

We enjoyed the Prix Fixe menu and enjoyed every single dish of a three-course dinner. Service was attentive and we were delighted with our meals.

Great food, good price, offset by sloppy service and disinterested staff. From the moment we walked in, and throughout the meal, we felt like, at best, we were doing them a favor, and at worst, like we were greatly inconveniencing them. The only time, not surprisingly, that anyone was gracious was when the bill came and it was time to tip them. Dishes came out with food on the rim, the same dish was plated inconsistently among three diners, water glasses were left empty, and plates were placed on the table at offset angles from the diners.

It is an absolutely beautiful restaurant. The wait staff was good. We were seated within a few minutes of our reservation. The appetizers were sizable and tasty. Our three mains were absolutely awful. All served overcooked and cold. My swordfish was thin with no flavor. My daughter’s sushi quality tuna was served medium per chef’s choice and my husband’s halibut was small, lacked flavor and the side was 5 boiled vegetables. We couldn’t believe how bad the mains were. And this was not a cheap meal. But then we went on the reviews and learned that this has been the situation since the restaurant opened. I even privately messaged them. They don’t care. Sit at the bar and order and app. But don’t pay $40 for food that tastes like it was microwaved.

The octpus was delicious! The best combination of texture and flavor. The hostess is very attentive. The desert selection is HUGE and very yummy, not too sweet!

The staff was marvelous! So warm and welcoming and accommodating. Wonderful to interact with servers and other staff from Greece (Crete). Extensive and healthy menu with lots of wonderful vegetable sides and generous portion sizes. Everything was cooked perfectly-seared tuna with medium rare center, unbelievably tender octopus (the best I have EVER had, and I order it frequently), crisp greens (horta), slightly crisped sautéed mushrooms. We were very late and the staff was very kind and reassured that they could serve us-even on a Friday night. Highly recommend.
