Gave this place a couple of chances to make sure the first time wasn’t a fluke. Unfortunately, the second visit was just as disappointing as the first time. Super slow service: inefficient and painfully slow that even the most basic things such as getting our drink orders took half an hour to even get to us. Food is also mediocre and very forgettable. It’s too bad. We were super excited for the renovation and the updates but having a pretty ambience can only get you so far.

Great place and ambiance. It wasn’t busy. Waited 30 minutes for caviar service and the waiter never apologized or told us the reason when we kept asking.

We loved the place and will be back. Everything was wonderful except: The kitchen was pretty slow The veal was overcooked.

Everything was excellent. We enjoyed the crab and avacado salad, the lobster entree, the salmon entree, and the layered cheesecake/carrot cake. Service was great, meal was well paced, restaurant had a buzz, and felt very intimate, too. I recommend the Manhattan. Cheers!

Lillian's has become one of our favorite restaurants since we returned to the San Diego area. The menu is not overwhelming but has a great selection for starters, entrees and desserts for lunch. The patio is lovely and service is excellent.

I’ve been to Lillian’s for dinner which was fabulous but this was my first time for lunch. I ordered the warm crab salad and even though the crab was fresh and tasty the rest of the salad was just lettuce and the salad was very small. I thought it would have been a luncheon size salad but it was more like a side salad. The hummus appetizer was ok but unremarkable. We sat outside on the patio and it was VERY pleasant - love the outdoor ambiance. The waiter was attentive but we felt a little rushed. I will go back for lunch but will probably order a more substantial meal.

Food was great , berry smoothies too sweet , the waiter did not offer other drinks to replace , but he did take them off the bill. He was very rushed. Dessert beignets too slow to come , ended up just paying the bill , they were not put in the bill,
