Lilac is a modern Mediterranean restaurant helmed by Michelin-starred chef and California native, John Fraser. Lilac exclusively offers a 4-course prix fixe menu featuring signature elements of Chef Fraser's mastery of Mediterranean cuisine explored through the lens of Floridian coastal produce. Open for dinner Tuesday through Saturday, the dining room’s walnut flooring and the warm glow from the pendant globes create an elevated, convivial space focused around an eight-seat Christian Liaigre chef’s counter in sandblasted walnut and a lively open kitchen. Taking its cues from Fraser’s Greek heritage and his admiration of Turkish cuisine, Lilac’s balanced menu is a celebration of the chef’s vegetable-forward philosophy using fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced ingredients.

Lilac offers an absolutely amazing dining experience. The staff is attentive at all times; the food is excellent and the wine pairings are spot on; each selection of wine was exquisite. The four course offerings are timed so that diners have the opportunity to savor each. We had the pork belly appetizer and the spiced rabbit in pappardelle which were both excellent. My hubby and I shared the red snapper and prawns for two. It was paired with spinach infused risotto and white asparagus with shaved fennel which were splendid accompaniments. The dessert of dark chocolate soufflé and vanilla gelato with orange marmalade was spectacular. Lilac’s Michelin star rating is well earned. We’ll be back again.

Service was good. The restaurant is in the lobby, which I was not expecting. Place has like 10 tables, which explains limited availability. Experience was interesting. They are a one star Michelin restaurant. Presentation of the food was beautiful but the taste was awful. So unimpressed. I have had such better food at non Michelin restaurants. Definitely will not go back ever again.

Service was excellent! Food was very good but is what we get in many other restaurants in the tampa bay area for half the price.

Loved it. Perfect dishes. Perfect service. Very unique and out of this world espectacular! I think people should try and dress better and with more class because Lilac deserves it!

The food is fabulous- creative combinations, beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The decore and ambience are great, the safe is wonderful. Great cocktails too. Very special place.

The food was Amazing & our server Jeremy was well versed on everything we were eating & drinking. It was a great experience & ambiance we will definitely come back again.

Service was outstanding, the cocktails were amazing too. I was not disappointed with my meal but I was not blown away by anything to be completely honest. The truffle pasta, duck, and wagyu were our favorites. I wish there was more of a division between the restaurant and hotel lobby, the atmosphere made me feel like I was in the lobby hidden behind a bar and some very nice greenery, just not as secluded as I would have preferred. I would like to try Lilac again, but given the cost I am hesitant that my experience would change

Nestled in The Tampa EDITION hotel, this Michelin-starred Mediterranean gem by Chef John Fraser offers an unforgettable menu bursting with vibrant, locally-sourced ingredients. The bar is a not-miss stop since the vibe is cool, low key with a sophisticated young and young at heart business crowd complete with a lovely ivory pool table if you’re so inclined. So chic. Our dining experience kicked off with sensational hors d'oeuvres: the soft, aromatic Pain Lyonnais; zesty Heirloom Tomato Tartelette; luxurious Maine Lobster Feuillantine with a mild kick; and the rich Poultry Liver Mousse on an almond croissant. Divine! Appetizers dazzled with the smooth and silky Red Beet & Robiola Ravioli’s and Bluefin Tuna a la Plancha’s umami-packed bouillon. The Diver Scallop with pinenut-preserved lemon risotto was an elegant, flavorful delight perfectly cooked. The entrées were stellar. Ora King Salmon with stone crab and fresno-lime butter was a symphony of flavors. The Colorado Lamb Cotelette, tender and perfectly seasoned, paired beautifully with poached leek and asparagus made for exquisite bites. A5 Wagyu Beef Filet Mignon, with a peppercorn jus and pickled new potatoes, was melt-in-your-mouth perfection. Desserts capped the night on a high note. The Bomboloni, with apple caramel and Calvados créme, were heavenly. The Robiola Goat Cheese with lavender herb crackers and apricot mostarda was a sophisticated treat. The Dark Chocolate Soufflé, paired with vanilla gelato and saffron Anglaise, was pure decadence. The beverage service, led by an expert sommelier, featured rare wines that perfectly complemented our meal. Special kudos to our servers, Trinatee and Trinitey, whose attentive service made the experience seamless and so delightful. Lilac is a must-visit for anyone in Tampa looking for an extraordinary, fun, and unforgettable dining adventure.

Everything was great…especially the service One complaint Online says $125 per person but it was $150 person.

Service was excellent and food was great, but the physical space left much to be desired. Very tight spacing in the two-top table section. I had to move the table over to one side to be able to sit (I'm tall), same to get out. Guy behind me banged his chair into mine when he was getting up. If u go, insist on one of the booths (there are only 6). If you're under 5'10", I imagine this won't affect you as much.
