The food was just alright, I got the shrimp basket, the fries & shrimp were bland they needed more flavor. It also didn’t come with nearly enough food for 17 dollars, I was still hungry after. My friend got the gumbo and they said it was just alright too. The service wasn’t great, we were seated for about 25 min before someone took our order. Last thing they brought out everyone’s food except for mine, and of course I told my friends to eat and not wait. By the time my food was out my friends were done eating.

Visited on opening weekend. Overall it was a good experience, and I will be back. There are a few things that need to be worked out, but to be expected for a brand new restaurant. We got seated and the hostess was beyond stressed, it was not a warm welcome. After we were seated we were a bit confused because there was no menu, the hostess did not mention that we needed to scan a small QR code to access the menu.. The server took about 10 minutes to get to us but she was nice when she did get there. The food was delicious but they need to work on how they get food out to tables. I got my food 10 minutes before my husband got his. His sides came out probably 5-7 minute before his main dish. The food was delicious though and I we definitely plan to go back in the future.

Loved this place! Red beans and rice were soooo good. Fried shrimp po boy yummy too! Get a frozen painkiller to wash it all down! Will def be back!

Food was absolutely amazing. Portion sizes were somewhat small for the price. Also service was slow but it’s a new restaurant so I expected some delay. Overall good food, very cool theme and service was slow but understandable

This is a quality restaurant but not a great one. Food was OK but not great. Basic Cajun food, Shoal Creek is better. I understand the concept and operational decisions but drinking out of cans and plastic is not my ideas of a good meal. Everything is fried and easy to cook. Food was fast to get to the table. IMO, it’s expensive for the quality of the food. Oysters were small, crawfish was great with plenty of spice, the gumbo was not good at all but the fried cracklins were amazing. I’d go back if in the area, but I would not make a special trip to visit again.

Fast seating but portion size were small for the main course meals. Shrimp PoBoy had about 10 shrimp

Lively atmosphere and such a fun menu! Awesome frozen drink selection and great appetizers (the meat pie, hush puppies, & chargrilled oysters were standouts)!

We love De Nada and have high hopes for this place, but it’s the first week and they don’t have everything worked out yet. Way too loud, specifically the music they have going. I shouldn’t have to yell for my table or my server to hear me. Food came before our drinks did, drinks aren’t quite dialed in, too sweet overall or if you want a balanced drink you have to add a floater. They are updating on the fly. My wife’s menu had some different items and higher prices than the one I was given which must have been printed earlier in the week. We’ll try it again, but not for several weeks….

All of the food we had was incredible. We had hush puppies, garlic and parm grilled oysters, oysters Rockefeller, prime rib poboy, shrimp poboy and gumbo. All of it was just incredible and exceeded expectations. The drinks were boozy and they had quite the selection of frozen cocktails. Service was spotty but that’s expected since they just opened. Can’t wait to go back and try more items on the menu.

Fabulous new local restaurant in ATX. Come for the frozen cocktails and gumbo. Authentic New Orleans food. Wait staff was very nice.

Made reservations for inside seats, but were put outside in the heat/sun. They had already run out of numerous menu items and drinks by the time we arrived at 6:30pm. Servers appeared to be short handed and thus slow. Food was respectable, but very slow to arrive and significantly overpriced. Warning: parking is awful.

Very busy but quick service and friendly staff. Everything was good. We did deviled eggs, hushpuppies, gumbo, red beans, potato salad, & shrimp po’boy. Highlights: - everything was spiced perfect - Leidenheimer bread for the po’ boys - lots of shrimp in said po’ boy - potatoes in salad are cooked in crawfish boil - Camilla red beans - Houston brand andouille - gumbo was that perfect chocolaty color - & come on the banana crème root beer float (with Abita brand RB) Steven, the owner, chatted with us. He’s from Baton Rouge, so he gets it. I’ll be back a million times.

Think “Elevated Cajun Roadhouse” and if that sounds appealing Lil’Easy will deliver. Classic Cajun food is well-represented and artfully executed, from lipsmackin cracklins to pitch perfect PoBoys, non-mushy hushpuppies to good ol gumbo, righteous remoulade to butterflied shrimp. Somethin for everyone. Good vibes, genial service, spirited design inside and on their expansive outdoor patio, awesome music mix to match, NOLA-inspired cocktails, even quaffable French wines and ragin Cajun cookin! Better yet: Incredibly well-priced for portions and pours, as they are anything but Lil’ ... and as they say in the Big Easy, Laissez les bons temps rouler!

Lil Easy is a must visit in East Austin! The vibes were on point alongside some amazing Cajun food. Super fun boozy daiquiris. Look forward to coming back!

Loved this place being from Louisiana and now living in Austin! So nostalgic and a good time. Staff was incredible and very attentive. My only ask would be so have some New Orleans Jazz or Zydeco music rolling. That would be the icing on the cake. 🤙

Gumbo and red beans + rice were deeply tasty, poboy bread was incredibly fresh, rum cake blew me away, and the frozen drinks were actually made for discerning adults. Don't miss this place.
