We called and let the hostess know we were running late and she told me it was fine. When we arrived the hostess had an attitude and told us we were put back on the list and the wait would be 30 minutes. We understood because we were late. While waiting I got a call that my reservation was being cancelled because I never showed but I was there waiting the entire time and check in with the hostess. We were eventually seated and our waitress was amazing! The food was also really good!

As someone from Louisiana, I was stoked to see a new Cajun place open up. Unfortunately, I wasn’t super impressed with the food for the price or the service, but the ambience and frozen drinks/bar menu were amazing! I’d say it was a pretty average experience.

Lil' Easy is a great new addition in Austin, that has lacked decent Cajun food for awhile now. While it was a bit pricey, I think it was totally worth it for the quality and portion sizes. The Po' Boys were stacked full of shrimp and super delicious and flavorful. The gumbo was smokier than most, but very flavorful overall. Meat pies were incredible and flakey and flavorful. The only dish that didn't particularly standout was the hush puppies, a bit too dense and dry for me but not necessarily bad. Dip them in the buttermilk sauce from the meat pie & it's a winner! Service was better than what you would expect at such a casual joint which was a nice surprise. Only had one drink here and it wasn't bad but didn't seem to be very strong. I think the food was really the winners here, lots of great flavor and the bread on the sandwiches was so fluffy and incredible! Overall, can't wait to come back for the Po' boys & meat pies!

Drink selection, price point, taste, and presentation was great! In-par with what’s expected from the De Nada team. This is my second trip to Lil Easy, and my only complaint (and the main complaint of my party’s guests both time) is the portion-sizes of the entrees for the price point. About $20 for a few small pieces of fish/shrimp/oysters in their basket. Much more worth it to just order a bunch of appetizers as your meal if you want to fill up.

Didnt know it was all frozen drinks, but its very rad. Good cajun food spot! Cant wait to come back .

We tried Lil' Easy for the first time since they opened and unfortunately we were not very impressed. We love the BIG EASY and spend two weeks in Louisiana every year including five days in New Orleans and the French Quarter. As a result we are probably spoiled but the gumbo didn't impress us. We ordered a dozen raw oysters and we didn't think they were fresh, no juice in any of them. On the positive side the fried shrimp basket was excellent and the prices were reasonable.

There are better Cajun inspired restaurants in Austin. The menu consisted of poboys, fish, shrimp, oysters, an array of boiled foods and salads. There was also gumbo and red beans but these items can only be ordered on a certain day. The drinks were over priced and the daiquiri was disappointing. Also, what’s the point of reserving a table if our table is going to be given away? We were seated somewhere else and that was okay, however servers passed by us several times and ignored us ( we were literally seated in their walking path) and I had to flag someone down just to put an order in. There was a group of 3 people that got there after us, was seated, and served all before I was able to flag someone down. The service could have saved the mediocre food but it clearly did not. I don’t expect authentic Cajun here in Austin ( I’m from south Louisiana) but I do expect realistic prices to match the food and service provided. We planned to have an entire course but the service put a damper on our visit. Ultimately we brought 2 daiquiris and an half order of oysters, which in turn was $40+ and way over priced for the portion in drink and food we received. Overall I would not come back here. There are plenty of Cajun restaurants in Austin that are better in food and price.

The food and drinks were excellent. Even though the weather was hot- the misting fans were very helpful. Will return.
