Location is good, I requested for the upper deck outdoor seating, however, when I got there, they said the upper deck is not open. I hope they would inform me on the date, so I have better options. Food and drinks were so so...

Food delivery was very prompt. The special all inclusive fish dinner was a good deal...beignets marvelous. Service good. View of harbor nice. Great having reasonable, convenient parking adjacent to the restaurant.

Location is great but unfortunately the price/value for food and drinks is completely out of balance. Had the Lobster Roll with potato chips - neither one had any flavor! Same with the drinks - Sangria tasted watered down - glad I had only ordered a glass not a Mason jar … Service was unorganized and a little bit “rough around the edges”. We surely won’t be back.

We were hesitant to make dinner reservations at Lighthouse Cafe due to some of the negative reviews, but we’re glad we did. It was a very enjoyable experience. We chose to sit inside due to the weather, but were seated right next to the large windows with beautiful views of the harbor and watched boats come and go all through our meal. Mary was a delightful waitress. My clam chowder was delicious, one of the best in our 10 day trip to Newport Beach, and the grilled salmon was wonderful. My husband said his hamburger was one of the best he’s had and, as a celiac, he appreciated the gluten free bun. Plus, they played the best music while we were there, really added to the enjoyment of the evening. This is a casual venue, and we would return in a minute.

Recently dined at Lighthouse Cafe to celebrate a birthday, but unfortunately, the occasion was marred by the incredibly slow service. My party and I waited approximately 55 minutes for our food to arrive, which was quite disappointing. The waitress did notice the delay and brought it to the attention of the manager, but it seemed that nothing was done to expedite our order as we still had to wait even longer and issue a second notice. While the waitress was friendly and apologetic, it was evident that there was not enough wait staff to handle the number of customers in the restaurant. The location itself was great, but the overpricing of the menu did not match the quality of the food or the expectations of the service. Overall, my experience at Lighthouse cafe was overshadowed by the long wait and lackluster service. If they can improve their efficiency and bring their prices more in line with the overall dining experience, it could be a much more enjoyable place to dine.

This was a huge disappointment - like a Howard Johnson. We did order a coconut shrimp which was heavily breaded and over fried for $23.99 Went to another place a mile away where the coconut shrimp were 10.99 and fantastic. Not a good value at all

Great place t o meet and eat! The food is good, the ambiance priceless and on a good day, you can see how wonderful Newport Beach really is.

I made dinner reservations here for my birthday with my two daughters. We were very disappointed! My daughter and I attempted to share the lobster roll. It was so bad that we both spit out our first bite. I let the waiter know it had a very bad taste to it. He instead offered to swap it out for a $6.00 dessert. Nevermind the lobster roll was $17. I won't be going back. When making the dinner reservation we commented it was my birthday but no mention of it was made. My mistake for attempting something new for my birthday.

Monday afternoon 5 PM a staff meeting, leaving one waitress for the entire restaurant. She did an outstanding job, but service, including the cooks showed. We ordered two items on the menu, only to be told they were not currently available. The Clam Chowder soup and one draft beer, disappointing. The salads were good, the fish and chips were cooked unevenly, the pasta was good, full of shrimp and chorizo. Ordered it mild and glad I did.
