Liberty Kitchen & Oysterette (LKRO) prides itself in it’s Oyster Bar. The multiple use seating at and around the Oysterette is inviting and friendly. The huge oyster, fresh seafood and whole fish display showcases seasonality and the vastness of the seafood offerings at LKRO. A traditional Japanese Robata Grill and a vertical 'Trompo' Grill are part of the Oysterette’s flexibility in a small space making the 'mini-kitchen' capable of producing freshly shucked oysters, grilled oysters, sushi, seafood towers and fresh carved tacos.

Moving into the main kitchen, the menu is just as wide and deep with a variety of local and regional seafood dishes and local Texas Beef. Our desire, as always, is to have a little something delicious for everyone and a menu for every palate as well as daily and weekly special features inspired by the bounty of available produce, meats and seafood in the Gulf Coast and beyond.

The food was amazing and came out hot. A good variety as well. Our sever inside was awesome! HOWEVER you are forced to valet park. The restaurant is surrounded by parking spaces. The 30+ spaces immediately next to the restaurant are blocked by valet cones. Every other space has a sign that says “no restaurant parking violators will be towed”. So you are forced to valet. There is no sign that says it is a paid service. They take your car park it 2 feet from the restaurant and then make you pay 5$ to retrieve it. I was in eyeshot of my car the entire dining experience. The attendants are rude people on top of that. When I complained about the valet they said “it’s a service that you have to pay for like a tip”. They also left my lights on for the entirety of the meal and I had to go out and tell them to turn them off so the battery didn’t die. I will pay for valet if parking is truly limited and the attendants are running and driving back and forth but if there is parking in front of the restaurant why wouldn’t I want to park there myself? What value does valet add? Why do you force people to valet? I will not be returning until you get rid of your valet service. What a scam. Ruined what would have been a 5 star review.

Fantastic dining experience on a Friday evening. Jason was our waiter and provided us with outstanding service. Drinks and food (steak and sushi) were on point. We will definitely dine again.

SO GOOD AS USUAL!!! Fourth time here and will return every time I visit Houston. Deviled eggs were made by Jesus himself :)
