We warmly welcome you to Leonessa- an Italian-Inspired Kitchen & Bar on beautiful Route 6A in Yarmouth Port. Husband & Wife team, Chef Owner Diego Mota and Owner & General Manager Taylor Amara bring exceptional scratch made regional Italian cuisine and impeccable service to this iconic neighborhood. Combining the best of food and beverage of Italy along with the influences of its bordering neighbors coalesces into a dynamic, modern and elevated culinary experience. Chef Diego and Taylor's dream to pour their true love and passion for food, beverages, and hospitality is realized with every service. Reservations are for tables in each our four unique dining rooms while the Bar welcomes guests on a first come first serve basis. Please note that we do our level best to accommodate seating/area requests but they are not guaranteed. We also kindly ask that parties arrive together so that everyone can enjoy their time with us. Food and service was outstanding--kudos to Zack for making my wife a perfect old fashioned. The only negative was the noise level--we were a party of three, all in our 60s so hearing isn't as good as it used to be--next time we'll request a table upstairs, where I think it's a bit quieter.

We were first seated upstairs which had zero atmosphere and we requested to be seated downstairs. They were nice enough to do it. We liked the drinks, the food and service. Only problem is their overpriced wine list which leaves you no option for a reasonable bottle of wine!

This was our first time here. From the minute we pulled up to the complimentary valet to when we got back in our car to head home, the evening was awesome. Camilla our server made us feel special and took amazing care of us. The food was flavorful, inventive and sumptuous. This is a perfect place for a special evening and a restaurant we will go back to again and again.

The interior of the restaurant is lovely, the noise level is moderate, which is such a relief! and no television shows sports! We were seated upon arrival even though we were about 15 minutes early. The waiter was lovely and informative, the drink menu a little intimidating (I had to google a couple of things). The appetizers were wonderful, the food amazing. We both had pasta dishes that were delicious. The price was less than we had anticipated (probably because we didn't have beef). We would return here in a minute!

Highly recommend! Food was excellent, service was too. Our table seemed very crowded and too close to the next one. It was also pretty loud making it somewhat difficult to have a conversation.

The menu was quite varied, and the choices were inviting. We both loved our meals. The waitstaff is pleasant and efficient. This is a very well-run restaurant. We will go back again soon.

First visit to celebrate a anniversary. Warm greeting. Waiter was excellent. Made good suggestions. For appetizers: calamari and small Cesar salad. Both were delicious. Main courses: duck and veal were fantastic. Large portions, not over cooked, seasoned perfectly. We had no dessert. Menu is posted on their web page. Table and setting were not real comfortable, sat with kitchen utensils on the wall above my head (?!). Pricey but quality ingredients used, wonderful flavors.

Great service from waiter but busser left my entire order of mashed polenta out of my to-go box. Apps were just ok (stuffed clams too bready and caesar too mayonaisey) but mains were excellent. Veal scallopini for me and clams with linguini which hubby finished to last bite. Vanilla pot de creme was outstanding. A cute and cozy house for a nice dinner.

Clearly this is the finest place to dine on Cape Cod! The ambiance, service, cuisine and surroundings make it posh without being snobby. Food is heavenly every time. Out waiter was a class guy, perfectly charming providing well above average service. Appetizers and entrees were stupendous, beautiful prepared and served. All was absolutely delicious!

Was seated immediately, wait staff excellent, a bit slow to start but we were talking and not really looking at our menus so that was on us. Drinks were delicious, special ravioli appetizer was large enough to split and was perfect. All Of our dinners were very good and our friends said they would return. Sat to right of bar, which we hadn’t done before, a bit more relaxed then front two rooms but just as good. Happy this restaurant is flourishing, will return

The drinks and the apps were fantastic. I don’t think the chefs have a great handle on how to cook duck — the fat wasn’t rendered and it was a bit raw (I recognize duck is supposed to be rare, but parts were raw/uncooked). Great spot, but I think the cooks should spend more time learning about duck

Hi Davin, Thank you for taking the time share your thoughts; as we were instructed mid service that you needed to leave and would like your entrees to go, we moved quickly to accommodate this request so that you may leave in a timely manner- so perhaps the duck was not quite up to temperature. We also do not offer take out as we feel our dishes to do not travel well. The duck happens to be on of our most popular and buzzed about entrees. Perhaps when you can carve out more time we can offer you a more rewarding experience.

First timers at Leonessa. Food and service were great. My friends dinner was undercooked but they fixed it immediately with appropriate apologies from the staff. The other minor issue was the noise level. It was a packed restaurant and in addition they were piping music in. You couldn't make out what the songs were and it just added more noise. We will be back!

This is an amazing restaurant and has quickly become our favorite on Cape Cod. Imaginative and creative food served beautifully. The staff are extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. We go every two weeks and look forward to every visit!

Our waitress, Lidia was a breath of fresh air! She was knowledgeable, attentive and focused on your satisfaction! Food was excellent! Best duck my wife has ever had. Cooked to perfection and generous. Strozzspreti was delicious. Staff is always welcoming and great value. Food is priced right.

Excellent food, wine, ambiance and service. The octopus carpaccio was spectacular, the fried calamari was done perfectly, the duck was devine and the pork chop was amazing! Will definitely go back!!!
