A modern Mexican restaurant offering a regionally inspired menu that beautifully encapsulates the country’s essence, with a special emphasis on craft tequila, mezcal and artisanal cocktails.
Inspired by the vibrant colors and flavors of Mexico, Leoncito sets the tone for an all-encompassing dining experience that transports guests with green and terracotta hues, artisanal decor, lush greenery, plush, social seating and ambient lighting. My enchiladas were severely burned on the ends. The server disappeared for at least 15 minutes when we were finished eating and wanted to pay. This resulted in a zero tip. My son said the Del Taco burrito yesterday was better. Lemonade was not refillable. Wife’s shrimp tacos too spicy. Small portions

Was looking forward to dinning at the restaurant since it was our first time and taking my wife and son to brunch on Mother’s Day. Started out great with our drinks and some appetizers but after an hour later no food. The waiter came to apologize and that a manager would go to explain what happened. After 15 minutes she came saying it was busy for the reason not getting our food but everyone around our area and some that sat after us good their food. We waited another 15 minutes and nothing, you would thinking they would make it ASAP but the urgency was not there so we told them not to bother because we’re leaving. Terrible service by the management.

The menu is not very conducive. The three of us sat there, trying to ponder what we wanted, and we sort of accepted something that was OK to us, but not what we would’ve really liked. One of us asked whether there were chile rellenos? There were not. And I asked how many shrimp were in the Camerones with Rice meal, and I was told 8 to 10. So, since this was a $32 meal, we decided to order two orders of the camarones and split them among the three of us. Total shrimp in the two dinners: we counted 10 shrimp. 5 in each order. Basically six dollars each per rather small shrimp. $64 for 10 small shrimp. Way overpriced, though the taste of shrimp and rice was good, and the roasted tomatoes tasted good also. The chips and salsa were fine. The service was OK. The design of the restaurant was delightful. Just as an aside, there were numerous taco choices. personally, I don’t like to order tacos when I’m out in a nice restaurant, because they are too messy to eat with my fingers when I’m with groups. The Mexican food menu needs to become more varied, in my opinion, and prices need to be adjusted downward.

We enjoyed our brunch! The margarita pitcher was perfect for the three of us and Jeffrey, the waiter was on top of things and made the experience all the more enjoyable.

Pretty place we ate outdoors that was nice. Food was ok. Not very much of it. We had a drink a piece he ordered shrimp only 5 shrimp with 4 tomatoes ( 39) 😳I had the chicken 2 quarters not much meat. Our bill was 165 with a split Caesar salad We aren't transit from here go somewhere else for the money. Here on a weekend ok but if you want to have food not for us. Plus we sat at the table for 20 min waiting we were booking for t bones when the waiter came

Hostess took forever to come to stand, had reservations but table had to be set up she left for 5 minutes to set a table? Hostess put our party next to a convention group that was loud and literally screaming when restaurant was empty and we could have sat anywhere. We asked to sit further away and she got an attitude. Finally sat and the waiter came to take drink order and food NEVER to be seen again. The food was awful and tasted like dog food. Chicken Tinga add on for salad $9 in a small side bowl not even 2oz - this Place needs to shut down it is empty and terrible. We have tried it now 10 times and it has been bad and gets worse every time we go. No drink refills no service bad food. We tried Red Rock!! Over it.

Don't go on Tuesday nights unless you want very loud music. The restaurant was pretty empty but out server was always in a hurry. We called him a hit and run server.

Tequila took 25 minutes to table. The house should make a list of stock for the tables. Food was great, music extremely loud could not have a conversation with anyone. Fourth visit, will come back just not on a holiday.

The portions are really small which is fine if the food is excellent but it wasn’t. There was nothing great about anything here. Service was below average. The place is pretty though!

We had the breakfast enchiladas for brunch and avocado toast. Both were very good. Our server, Tevin was great! However the host at the front had a bit of an attitude when all we did was share feedback that the website says they open at 10 am on Sunday, along with the concierge at Red Rock. They do not open at 10 am it’s 11 am but she had a chip on her shoulder when all we were doing was offering feedback to share with management. So first impression didn’t set a good tone but the servers were amazing.

It was excellent! The tacos, guacamole and chips and salsa were delicious. They even gave us a free Cobb salad to try. Our waiter was fantastic, the ambiance was excellent and we did notice that the lighting was perfect. It wasn’t too dark or to bright. Thank you for an amazing night out.

So stoked to have this bomb Mexican restaurant in our neighborhood! Great addition to Red Rock, and we loved the restaurant that was here before. The food is so good, moderately priced for casino/Vegas, and the decor and furnishings inside are beautiful! So nice. We have come twice, and both times service has been 5 stars - this time with our buddy Eddie from Nicaragua. What a super nice dude! His personality and demeanor are what restaurant hospitality should be. Loving coming here and will be back soon!

I strongly recommend the Milanesa! Service was superb from all staff members. Will definitely return in the future. Menu is small but the quality of food was great.

Nice atmosphere, beautiful decor. Food was amazing but the portions are kinda small. Service could be better as well. It took awhile for our waitress to return to our table at times. She was very nice though. Overall I would go back and eat here

Typical Las Vegas ambiance of super loud music on a patio overlooking a busy parking lot. Great service once it arrived and tasty food that is priced right for LV. Great selection of tequilas and good drinks!

Second time to Leoncito and not liking the food. Enchiladas need more cream and Mole needs more flavor. Cocktails are great. Taquila Tuesdays are fun with music and dancing.

PROBLEMS 1.waaay over-priced 2. tiny portions 3. small meunu (no burritos, no fajitas) 4. sides dishes like rice, veggies, etc are an upsell for 50% more of base cost 5. they focus more on the liquor and try to sell you $50 pineapple float drink 6. server didnt even light our candle, didnt refill chips n salsa or even ask Go to Panchos...waaay better food, value

There were 4 of us. I meal was ice cold. By the time he received his meal again we were all finished

Beautiful restaurant, very similar set up to Hearthstone. The food was okay… nothing special or authentic. We had the ceviche, asada tacos and fish tacos. It felt like everything lacked flavor or salt. The drinks were good, would recommend the horchata carajillo. It was okay, but I don’t feel as though the food was worth the price. Maybe I’d go back for some drinks.

Super pretty restaurant! I was celebrating my birthday… was in the notes and told hostess but server didn’t acknowledge the celebration at all.

The food taste was exquisite but compare with the price ,was just too much I always have dinner in different restaurants every week and I think the beef it was ton Expensive 54$ for two peace of beef it was just to much , other than that was good

I don’t know what it is with contemporary Mexican restaurants. They do a spin on the traditional dishes like enchiladas, guacamole, street tacos, etc. and they think that makes them “special” (and then they throw in resort prices . . .). I’m learning that the true traditional Mexican eateries that are run by Latinos, use tried & true handed down recipes are the best on any given day if that’s the category of food you are craving. Personally, the street tacos at the Mexican food stand at the car wash are better than what I had here. And what does it say when the guacamole looks like it has the same ingredients you put in your own home made guacamole, but lacks the punch (and costs $15 in a small bowl). Maybe I’m turning into a Mexican food snob (and it’s not even my favorite international flavor to go to . . . ) but I think I’ll stick to Chipotle where the guacamole is 10 times better, and the burritos are to die for. I miss Hearthstone and can’t figure out why they left Red Rock

The restaurant vibe is really enjoyable. All of the staff are friendly and attentive. The chips and salsa were tasty. The entrees and sides were nothing great. The chicken tacos needed more filling and a double taco shell. The enchiladas were just ok. Street corn was cold and lacking in flavor. Unfortunately all of the food was barely hot. The drinks were just ok as well-for the prices charged I sure hope they can improve.

Service was so so thefood was overpriced for Mexican. Drinks were really good. The waiter at the table next to us did a better job explaining the menu and the weekly specials. I might come back for happy hour but not dinner way to expensive for what you get.
