A modern Mexican restaurant offering a regionally inspired menu that beautifully encapsulates the country’s essence, with a special emphasis on craft tequila, mezcal and artisanal cocktails.
Inspired by the vibrant colors and flavors of Mexico, Leoncito sets the tone for an all-encompassing dining experience that transports guests with green and terracotta hues, artisanal decor, lush greenery, plush, social seating and ambient lighting. I strongly recommend the Milanesa! Service was superb from all staff members. Will definitely return in the future. Menu is small but the quality of food was great.

Nice atmosphere, beautiful decor. Food was amazing but the portions are kinda small. Service could be better as well. It took awhile for our waitress to return to our table at times. She was very nice though. Overall I would go back and eat here

Typical Las Vegas ambiance of super loud music on a patio overlooking a busy parking lot. Great service once it arrived and tasty food that is priced right for LV. Great selection of tequilas and good drinks!

Second time to Leoncito and not liking the food. Enchiladas need more cream and Mole needs more flavor. Cocktails are great. Taquila Tuesdays are fun with music and dancing.

PROBLEMS 1.waaay over-priced 2. tiny portions 3. small meunu (no burritos, no fajitas) 4. sides dishes like rice, veggies, etc are an upsell for 50% more of base cost 5. they focus more on the liquor and try to sell you $50 pineapple float drink 6. server didnt even light our candle, didnt refill chips n salsa or even ask Go to Panchos...waaay better food, value

Beautiful restaurant, very similar set up to Hearthstone. The food was okay… nothing special or authentic. We had the ceviche, asada tacos and fish tacos. It felt like everything lacked flavor or salt. The drinks were good, would recommend the horchata carajillo. It was okay, but I don’t feel as though the food was worth the price. Maybe I’d go back for some drinks.

The food taste was exquisite but compare with the price ,was just too much I always have dinner in different restaurants every week and I think the beef it was ton Expensive 54$ for two peace of beef it was just to much , other than that was good

I don’t know what it is with contemporary Mexican restaurants. They do a spin on the traditional dishes like enchiladas, guacamole, street tacos, etc. and they think that makes them “special” (and then they throw in resort prices . . .). I’m learning that the true traditional Mexican eateries that are run by Latinos, use tried & true handed down recipes are the best on any given day if that’s the category of food you are craving. Personally, the street tacos at the Mexican food stand at the car wash are better than what I had here. And what does it say when the guacamole looks like it has the same ingredients you put in your own home made guacamole, but lacks the punch (and costs $15 in a small bowl). Maybe I’m turning into a Mexican food snob (and it’s not even my favorite international flavor to go to . . . ) but I think I’ll stick to Chipotle where the guacamole is 10 times better, and the burritos are to die for. I miss Hearthstone and can’t figure out why they left Red Rock

The restaurant vibe is really enjoyable. All of the staff are friendly and attentive. The chips and salsa were tasty. The entrees and sides were nothing great. The chicken tacos needed more filling and a double taco shell. The enchiladas were just ok. Street corn was cold and lacking in flavor. Unfortunately all of the food was barely hot. The drinks were just ok as well-for the prices charged I sure hope they can improve.

Service was so so thefood was overpriced for Mexican. Drinks were really good. The waiter at the table next to us did a better job explaining the menu and the weekly specials. I might come back for happy hour but not dinner way to expensive for what you get.

Great food! Margarita was on the small side for the price but strong so that made il for it. We had the best server and the food was delish! The enchilada verde was yum, as well as the street corn and Spanish rice. And we were given plenty of chips and salsa which was great. Totally recommend!

Tried the tacos too much Chile on shrimp could eat pain in mouth. The beans, rice, and chicken tacos were less spicy. Service was impeccable, thanks Victor. Will be back for the Salmon and Shrimp diner the signature meals for us.

Our server Joseph was outstanding and we will be back soon because of him 1st and food second. He made us feel welcome, like we were the only guest in the restaurant.

Sitting at the table for over and hour and no service. Not cool. People that came in after us were helped . Food was not up to par. Drinks were good . Server claimed to be busy . But it really wasn't that busy. Don't think I'll go back.

Entrees were very good. Salsas provided were very good. Chips were mediocre. Very good service.

I just can’t wrap my arms around this place. We came back a 5th time and I am still underwhelmed by the food. The Guacamole tasted pre-made, watery and not fresh. The cauliflower side came out soggy and greasy but both came out quick like they were already up there ready to run. Are they not making anything fresh? Guacamole came before chips and salsa just bizarre. Salsa has changed since opening. The Chicken Tinga tacos are boring with no taste, no moisture, no cilantro no fixings. Just underwhelming at best. The crispy carnitas tacos were dripping with grease at least those were moist, but grease? Now I hear they are bringing in a thumpy DJ. I guess if you have terrible food you make a place into a night club! Too old for Red Rocks new wave F&B with bass beat music. Guess the locals don’t matter anymore.

We had to wait 15 minutes to be seated even with a reservation and a half empty restaurant. It took 40 minutes to get our refreshments. The food was average at best and the kicker was how expensive everything was. Never again.

We ate here 2 days in a row as locals. The guacamole is amazing! The Steak Picado on the lunch menu is fantastic. For dinner the 2nd day my husband and I shared the Rib-Eye... WOW! Then we took the bones home to our doggies, they also approved ;) The restaurant decor is beautiful, great vibe, and pretty awesome sound system. Both lunch and dinner wait staff and management were super attentive, friendly, and impressive customer service. I appreciate menu suggestions with the intent to upsell but not pushy. This will be an easy go-to for us when we want to treat ourselves to a quality meal and beautiful atmosphere.
