In addition to offering comforting American favorites, our menu provides a selection of flavors inspired by our chef’s culinary experiences, ranging from classic Spanish fare to Italian favorites. Our menu changes seasonally to feature the freshest ingredients and provide an exciting dining experience throughout the year.

The Lemon Grove Bistro is in a historic mission-style building in the heart of Lemon Grove. Since 1912, it’s been a place where locals meet and build connections, whether they were picking up their mail at the Sonka General Store in 1944 or ordering custom cakes at the Grove Pastry Shop in 2012.

We had a very nice lunch with good friends. I love this place! The food is awesome and the service is excellent. It was nice to just sit and eat and talk with our friends.

This was our first time visiting lemon Grove bistro. We went there for Mother’s Day and was pleasantly surprised. The place was clean and nice. The service was attentive and quite good. The food was excellent everything our table had tried was good! There are not too many nice places in Le Grove that I know of being new to the area so this was quite a fine and a wonderful gem which we will be back, I’m sure in the future.

This was my first time at Lemon Grove Bistro - it's a small, local restaurant, but we were welcomed so warmly, and the waiter was helpful with the menu, which had a bit of everything. We found it through Yelp, it was so highly rated, and now I understand why. The food was delicious!

My wife and I planned a trip to San Diego and decided to dine out with my sister and brother-in-law, who live in the area. After some searching, we found a charming restaurant with a clean and inviting exterior. As soon as we entered, we were warmly greeted and promptly seated by the friendly host. We wasted no time in ordering drinks and our meals, eager to experience the ambiance of the place. When our food arrived, we were all delighted by the delicious offerings. I opted for the beef bourguignon, while my wife savored the slow-braised short ribs. My sister chose the flat iron steak, and my brother-in-law went for the house-made meatloaf. Each dish was cooked to perfection, and the flavors were outstanding. Despite the high quality of the food and service, we were pleasantly surprised by the reasonable prices. In total, our bill came to around $145 for all four of us, including food and drinks. It felt like a steal considering the exceptional dining experience we had. I can’t wait to return to this restaurant the next time I’m in the area. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food, friendly service, and reasonable prices in San Diego!

The food was beyond phenomenal! A mix of classic, modern and rustic dishes. Some cozy and familiar but every beautiful look and feel of each dish was emboldened by unique and heartwarming flavors of home. The service was excellent and for a beer and wine location, it is sure to attract a good crowd in the summer months due in part to it's charm and beautiful outside deck and patio section! A sure fire hit, Lemon Grove Bistro is in a great location, in a cute little building. The prices are mild compared to the beauty and richness in each plate. A remarkable find!
