The first LSF in the neighborhood opened back in 1980 at the Park Plaza Hotel quickly becoming the company's flagship. This new location boasts over 7500 square feet, featuring a full wrap-around bar, open raw bar, expansive lounge and dining areas with plenty of booth seating, a 20-25 seat private dining room and substantial patio dining along the bustling Park Plaza - a first for LSF in this neighborhood! All combined, the restaurant will accommodate over 180 guests inside and an additional 60 outside.

The hostess was kind, professional and considerate. She took note of my request for a quieter table as my guest has hearing issues. Unfortunately there was a lot of confusion snort the servers as to who was responsible to take our table. Two unfriendly and curt gentlemen came by and were definitely annoyed with the confusion and it showed. Finally a young lady came and while she was friendly, was stuck answering questions at another one of her tables for 90% of our meal, and seemed to have fired our entrees with the appetizers because they came out in rapid succession which my guest was displeased with. Also my guest said she went downstairs to their restroom and was really grossed out because they were blasting heat (it was a warm day anyway) into it. She said it was unbearable—she couldn’t breathe down there so she turned and left. As for the drinks, the painkiller was a watery concoction that I wouldn’t recommend. As for the food, delicious as always which is why we love going to legal seafoods. We just won’t be going back to this location. TLDR:: service was a mess, staff don’t seem trained properly, but food was great

Our waiter must have been new. We never got our bar order till like 30 minutes( I would have had 2 glasses of wine if he brought them earlier). I saw him once and motioned sipping so he’d remember but he seemed annoyed. I also never got my cup of chowder. When I asked him to take it off bill he said it did come pointing to my husbands empty cup? Not a good experience.

Nice atmosphere with courteous staff. The combo mini sandwich with chowder and fries and slaw is a good deal.

Excellent food. Excellent service and we loved the space in Park Square. We had wanted to visit this location and finally got to dine there. It was great..

We were very pleasantly surprised to find many gluten free options on the menu. It was also nice to have them clearly marked. The food was very good. The service was excellent.

Nice family dining in the heart of downtown Boston. There are a couple of locations, this one is near Boston Commons. Enjoyed the clam chowder and stuffed lobster tail!

Service was ok. Some food was great and other inedible. I couldn't eat the octopus and had to send back. A bit noisy. They also stuck us in a tiny table with terrible lighting. Not sure I'd go back

Service and food were great. COD and Damon-super. The ambiance is visually very pleasing, but noise level, acoustics, and overhead music…loud and not conducive to a relaxing dining experience. Hard to hear your dining mate ((maybe for us seniors)

Somewhat disappointing experience for a pre-show dinner. Our server was kind and attentive but the food quality was not what I’ve come to expect from Legal. Each member of our party was not happy with their meal.

Although traffic made us late for a reservation, we were seated quickly. Our server, Sophia, was excellent: friendly, efficient, and helpful. My husband had fried scallops and I had trout, both of which were fresh and prepared perfectly. His sides were ordinary fries and cole slaw; mine were asparagus and whipped sweet potatoes, both of which were delicious. Sophia knew we were on our way to the theater and made sure we were well-attended to and out the door in plenty of time.

Service was not good - drinks took 20 minutes and food even longer. It was Marathon Monday but the restaurant was only 3/4 full.

The food was excellent so we're the signature drinks that mango lemon drop is fabulous! Ask for server Omar! It was a business meeting dinner with 6 of us. He remembered what we each wanted with sides as he came back to confirm our order without writing it down. He was truly amazing!

Server struggled. Took an hour to put in our order. Forgot our order and had to ask again. Took over 45 minutes to get our drinks from the bar. Forgot my girlfriends’s drink and had to reorder.

The server and food were both excellent, however, there was a smell as we came in that reminded me of being an a old basement. Overall, the atmosphere was dark, this was definitely not what I expect legal seafood. Which is one of my favorite seafood restaurants.

Food is good but servers (and seaters) were outstanding, including the young people that took orders/served our meal: 2 young women and Roland. We live in NYC so compare to friendliness level there and your servers were 10 out of 10. Hope your management takes note & considers how to mentor/promote in future so as not to lose them.

Horrible experience. Service was terrible. Staff were totally unhelpful. Service was non existence. Food was cold. Would NEVER go there again, and I live 3 blocks away and brought visitors and was embarrassed to death. Worst meal and dining experience I’ve ever had. Has completely gone down hill. It was a nightmare from the moment I stepped in the door and just got worse. Staff is totally untrained. The manager wasn’t even there they all said. She just “stepped out”! Do NOT GO to this restaurant!

Wow has this place gone downhill. Dreadful service, with high prices for mediocre food and small portions. I used to love Legal’s. Alas, no more.

We dine at Legals fairly often, but this is the first at Park Plaza. It felt a little bit like chaos and no one was steering the ship. We sat there for a while before even given water and was told our server would be coming. After a good long time someone did come, but they did not seem thrilled to take our order. A bit surprised given the location.

I was ignored for the first 10 minutes. Then had 3 different waiters come over in the span of 5 minutes to see if I had been helped yet. Don't order the clam flatbread. It wa salty, greasy and soggy.

We made a reservation at 4pm and it took about 45 minutes for a server to see us. Apparently they forgot about us. Our entrees arrived at different times and had been sitting under the warming lights for a while. Overall not the experience we are used to with Legal Seafood.

We had 3 or 4 waitstaff not sure who actually was with our table. The restaurant was half full but many of our orders were wrong and undercooked. Very disappointing

Great hostees welcome! Very busy evening but they handled our table of 5. I was going to get the mediterrian swordfish but ended up ordering the twin stuffed lobster tails and OMG. The stuffing is something Ive never had before, even from my favorite place! The size of the scallops in the stuffing were big and it was yummy. Cannot wait to go again!

Service was extraordinary. Omar was amazing! I have Celiac disease and Omar put me at ease as well as wowing my wife and daughter. Manager was so friendly when I inadvertently got Sweet potato mashed with my meal. She made me ecstatic when she brought me jasmine rice. 5 Stars will definitely return!

Our party had a variety of seafood entrees and everything was cooked perfectly. The salads were very fresh and delicious. Our server was attentive, but did not rush us. It was all around a great dining experience.

Food was pretty good. Not gourmet. Portions were good. Waiter never brought bread to the table after saying that he was. A little pricey - as expected in the city. I would eat there again.

The Valentine special for the clambake was wonderful. However, when it came, the lobsters were steaming hot, the muscles and the clams were lukewarm and the corn & potatoes were cold. It seemed like maybe the steamers the muscles, potatoes and corn were made in abundance prior to the lobsters being steamed and that’s why they were the temperature they were when plated.I don’t care for this new location, but our server and the service itself was great.
