Excellent service. After the meal did notice we were charged for a beer that we bought at the bar and brought to the table. Honest mistake I’m sure we didn’t notice until after we paid so we didn’t make a fuss.

We have eaten here a ouple times in the past 2 months. One thing that is important, when you seat a person in an empty area, besure to tell the waiter that you have put someone there where they are suppose to work. We were seated and 8 minutes later a waitress who ended up asking if we had been helped. It wasn't here fault, it was the hostess and another waitress who was working another area who thought it was a fine idea. Communication is key. The wiatress (Chloe) did great!

Should have known better than to eat at a chain restaurant. Service was meh. Ordered blackened salmon which had no flavor. Ordered the sesame and soy roasted broccoli because the veggie side options were limited. The sodium from the soy sauce was a little overpowering. My husband ordered grilled trout which was overcooked and extremely dry. Best past of the meal was the rolls.

We are here 2 nights in a row. Delicious scallops salmon and calamari. Delightful server. Good service and welcome staff. Parking is a challenge like for much of Boston.

Brought a visiting colleagues to lunch. Food was adequate. Service was not what I expect from a restaurant like this. Unlikely to take a guest here in the future.

Most consistent Legal Seafoods in terms of quality of cooking and visual presentation. We used to go to Chestnut Hill LS however, the quality was lacking. Mad respect for the Kendall Square chefs, we are always pleased.

Forgot to bring the chowders and when those were brought we were already eating our lobster rolls, so they were cold by the time we got to have the chowders…

This was out 4th or 5th visit to Boston area, and every time we are there we made a point to go to a Legal Seafood restaurant, because that was originally recommended to us as the beacon of the Seafood quality and taste. Unfortunately, this beacon has been gradually dimming every time we ate at one the places. And, although this was our first ever visit to this particular location, it just proved to us that next time we should look for a new Seafood place. Nothing we ate was bad, but nothing was excellent either. It was just Ok. We all had stuffed lobster and mostly left the dry ugly mess they are calling "stuffing" on the plate only eating the meat off the clams. Quite disappointing!

We went for the Dine Out Boston meal, and were impressed by the quality and amount of food served. Jonathan was the waiter, and he was helpful and attentive. This was the best meal we have ever had at Legal.

We haven’t eaten at Legal since COVID and were happy to discover that the food was even better than ever. The service was friendly and efficient and the atmosphere inviting.

My soup came out cold. And then after our appetizers, we waited over an hour for our main entrées. It was our first time at legal seafood was a very disappointing experience.

Nice food, kids love the kids menu! We were there till 945pm not knowing the restaurant closes at 9pm but the staff did not rush us to finish our meal

A great leap day dinner. Our server was very efficient and attentive. The lobster and the salad were excellent. We would recommend legal in Kendall Square for any occasion.

Twin lobster leap special was special, nicely done. Service by Blake B was wonderful, we had brought a birthday cake and Blake was patient and helpful. Lovely experience.

Excellent chowder, scallops and trout! Server was friendly and just attentive enough. Caesar salad could use a little more flavor; unfortunately they were out of our preferred dessert. Overall a very nice dining experience.

We had a lovely dinner and an excellent waitress. The menu is simpler than some other Legal branches - we might have preferred more variety but enjoyed our meal.

Los mejillones están sensacionales; la Langosta muy vasta y de muy buen sabor; sugiero más variedad en la carta de vinos y mejorar el precio de los mismos.

Met a friend for lunch at the Kendall Square location of this Boston stalwart. Arriving right at opening time, we had the place to ourselves for a bit before the lunch crowd started filtering in, so it was nice and quiet for conversation and service was friendly and attentive. I ordered the Blackened Raw Tuna Tataki, and my friend had the Signature Crab Cakes. The food was fine, but it seems to me that the seafood doesn't "sing" at Legal's since the chain was sold a few years ago. Certainly the prices have risen, but, of course, that's true everywhere. If you are looking for reliable, you still can't go wrong with Legal's. But I think next time I'm heading out for seafood, I might be a little more adventurous.

Service was subpar. Food was mediocre at best, and there were things missing from what was described on the menu. Pretty expensive for the quality and quantity of food served. Decent atmosphere.

Highly recommended when the store has just opened with reservation. Very tasty and good food including the clam chowder, burgers and calmari. Nice service and server too.

This was my first time dining at Legal Seafood. There were only 4 other parties in the dining room, and we waited 20 minutes to be waited on. I had to approach the host to ask when we would be served. I ordered the 1/2 lbs lobster roll served warm with butter and I received it cold and dry. The other person at my table ordered the fish and chips, and was quite happy with their meal. The restaurant itself was clean and bright, however I would not eat at this location again.

Service was very attentive; food arrived at the right time and at the right temperature- cold shrimp but hot calamari., for example. Lobster roll and fried fish sandwich was yummy.
