Legal Sea Foods a ouvert ses portes en 1950 comme marché aux poissons à Inman Square, Cambridge, et s'est agrandi en 1968 en restaurant sans chichis où les clients s'asseyaient sur des tables de pique-nique. La première étage de Legal Harborside célèbre ce patrimoine et dispose d'un restaurant et d'un marché décontractés.

Vous pourrez profiter d'un menu toute la journée de fruits de mer, ainsi que des plats à partager, des pâtes et des pizzas sur commande dans une cuisine ouverte. Choisissez de manger à l'une des tables de pique-nique pour une expérience authentique ou prenez place au bar à huîtres et regarder nos ouvreurs d'huîtres au travail (jusqu'à 14 variétés d'huîtres sont proposées tous les jours). We were excited because our 8:30 dinner reservation we arrived early and they seated us at a lovely table 45 minutes early. We ordered big $$ with lobster and wine bottle. But after 2 hours still had no food. We had to rush them because we had to get back to the ship. One steak ordered medium rare was way overcooked. We returned it and no manager ever came to speak with us. Left most of the food and paid $350. Very disappointing….

That was some of the best clam chowder I've ever eaten, highly recommend trying it! I also ate the fish and chips. Fish was cooked well, outer crust had a good texture, but really lacked flavor. I ran out of tartar sauce as I was doing whatever I could to give it some flavor. Fries were standard and nothing more. I'd consider trying plenty of other food, but I wouldn't bother with the fish and chips.

I got fried chicken sandwich and the chicken was raw. They took my lunch off the bill but manager never stopped by table. Took a long time to get bill. After we were ready to go is when server went to ask manager if she could take off bill. Disappointed because last time i came it was a great experience

Nothing was terrible, the total experience was not good. Ordered oysters 1/2 we’re maybe as big as a quarter. The other 1/2 were normal size. Ordered steak and a lobster tail. The steak was fine. The veggie barely warm. But the lobster tail was maybe 2 1/2 inches long. I’ve had larger shrimp in a cocktail. For the price I felt cheated.

The lobster roll was good but the service was grim - we waited a-g-e-s for drinks, and e-o-n-s for our bill. Price of the drinks was too high.

This place is expensive but so are all the other places around there. Its the Seaport! Its easy to get to from 93 - take a left getting off the highway onto Northern Ave and go for about a mile. We did the valet parking which was easy. You can go just past the restaurant and use the traffic circle to get to the other side of the road so you can pull up. We were half an hour early for our reservation but were seated. They gave us a table right against the window and we had a lovely view despite the weather being overcast. I got the white sangria - very tasty and just slightly sweet. We shared the bang bang cauliflower - delicious. The rolls were amazing. For my meal I ordered the blackened cod, which I didn't care for. It was overcooked and only lightly seasoned. We would go back but I would order something different.

Service was spotty, but friendly. Lobster Bake dinner for two... well as a local, I'd say the lobsters were tiny. The swordfish looked dry. My clam linguini was fantastic .

Good lobster rolls. Very crowded. A bit overpriced. First time at a Legsl seafood in 10 years. Great service though.

Had a reservation and sat up on the rooftop, after the hostess downstairs directed us up the elevator. Once upstairs, none of the 3 waitresses came to our table, even though they were serving the tables directly in front of and behind us. Despite making eye contact with us multiple times, it took me flagging down one of the passing waitresses to ask for menus. I figured that would let them know we were interested in ordering food/drinks, but I guess not. After waiting another 30 minutes, I approached another waitress and asked what the usual process was. She told me to order from the bartender. When I approached the bartender, he said “Can you please order through one of the girls if you are at a table?”. I explained to him what I was told, & he apologized & took our drink/food order. After we got our food/drinks (finally), we were never checked on for anything, even though by that time new groups were seated around us & actively being served by the waitresses. Despite our reservation in advance, we clearly were not welcomed there, for reasons I will never know I guess. Hands down the worst service I have ever encountered at a restaurant, and I will never return to that location. I would not recommend going there to anyone.

The food was fantastic and our server was super amazing. I would recommend reservations and asking for a table with actual chairs. We ended up at a table with a bench seat and it was uncomfortable but overall we had an amazing dinner experience!

I ordered the shellfish tower for 4 and split it with a friend. It was amazing! Between the two of us we completely demolished that dish.

This has been a gluten free go to for years. The food came out incorrectly, the manager was clueless and when we asked about the incorrect order the server said “I’ll just have to throw it away then.” I live across the street (Park Lane) and have been a loyal customer for over 10 years. The new management is a disaster. The uniforms look like a fast food place. The manager was clueless about allergies. The server was slow and ultimately got everything wrong. BUT the food quality was terrible. I couldn’t finish my overpriced and extremely overcooked salmon. It was not fresh. In my party we all ordered salads. One with grilled chicken and one with shrimp, mine was salmon. We had dry, old small pieces of chicken and the shrimp looked frozen. Total downfall of a previously reliable place. 0/10. Anyone from out of town, don’t go there. So many better places for the same price point: Yankee Lobster is head and shoulders above. SAVR. Ocean Prime for the same price and MUCH better food and service. Literally so many places. I won’t be back.

Our server, Taif,was very friendly and attentive. She remembered it was our 20th anniversary, and she even offered to put money in the parking meter across the street. She was great! The reception desk hostesses also said happy anniversary when we came in and gave us a window seat. The food was great!

So nice to have dinner at a kid friendly place without sacrificing quality in any area. My husband and I loved our meals, kids loved theirs, and we blended right in with just the right amount of stimulation for all. Will be back sooner than usual.

Good service. A bit noisy but it was a busy lunchtime. Disappointed in the whole belly clams. Didn’t seem that fresh and a little over cooked. I’m recommending it but with reservations.

Wonderful atmosphere, and amazing food! Legal Sea Food was awesome. The marathon runner in our group received free clam chowder, and we all got discounts on the incredible lobster rolls! We took boston creme pie to go. It was so good with our coffee this morning!

We had a wonderful time, perfect weather for harbor viewing. Everyone’s dinner including the broil cod dinner, octopus appetizer, and sushi and oysters was filling and left no room for dessert. Drinks reasonable with many choices. Server was always ready.

Lobster rolls cost $43 and were mediocre. 3 of us ordered them warm with butter - they came dry and with no butter. We asked and were given melted butter to pour over but they should have been warmed in the butter. In any case, the lobsters were only so-so; they didn't seem super fresh. Not at all like lobster rolls that I used to get at Legal up to about a year ago. (This is the third time I've gotten mediocre ones in the last year at 3 different venues. so I wonder if Legal isn't just going downhill.). One person got trout and said it was quite dry. We ordered take out crabcake combo for dinner which was also disappointing - the crabcake was pretty tasteless. On the good side, the RI calimari appetizer was excellent. But everything else just so/so - except the prices which are quite high! As I say I now wonder if Legal Seafoods isn't just consistently not up to its older standards. Our companions had also eaten there the night before and ordered steamed lobsters, which they said were overcooked. For $60 that is inexcusable.
