Legal Sea Foods a ouvert ses portes en 1950 comme marché aux poissons à Inman Square, Cambridge, et s'est agrandi en 1968 en restaurant sans chichis où les clients s'asseyaient sur des tables de pique-nique. La première étage de Legal Harborside célèbre ce patrimoine et dispose d'un restaurant et d'un marché décontractés.

Vous pourrez profiter d'un menu toute la journée de fruits de mer, ainsi que des plats à partager, des pâtes et des pizzas sur commande dans une cuisine ouverte. Food was wonderful. Our waiter was extremely sub par. No personality whatsoever. Seemed like he really didn't want to be working. We waited and waited for our appetizer, and when it finally came, our dinner was brought at the same time. We NEVER have short changed our server on their tip, but we did this time !

One of the best multicourse seafood meals we’ve ever had, and we lived in Seattle for twenty years. Oysters, chowders, main course tuna and scallops, and key lime pie and a torte. Uniformly fabulous.

Very disappointing. Quality of food, poor. Felt like I ate leftovers. Service was just ok. After dinner, the waiter dropped the check on the table and said “i assume u dont want dessert,” which in fact we did. Ordered cappuccinos, “all out,” ordered coffee “one cup left” so we cancelled dessert all together. Will never go back. Better restaurants in Boston anyway.

Food was excellent! On a busy Mother’s Day we were treated with great service. Started with apps: calamari, mussels, fish tacos, New England clam chowder. We were able to enjoy these and not be rushed into ordering entrees. When we were ready we had fish n chips, lobster rolls and tuna. Drinks were fast to be served and delicious. Overall a great experience. We all commented that management must be top notch as this restaurant ran very smoothly offering great service and delicious fresh food. Will definitely go again!

The whole belly clams were tiny and over cooked in my opinion. I grew up with Legal’s all the way from Inman Square Cambridge. Not the same. No onion strings was a disappoint also.

Arrived at 11:30am and restaurant was empty. Asked the hostess to move us to a table that had chairs instead of the backless benches and were moved to a table behind the server's station that blocked the view. The hostess seemed annoyed that we asked for a different table so we didn't ask a 2nd time. The mussels were the highlight though food was disappointing overall.

George, our waiter, helped my 87 year old sister shuck her lobster. That was a big help to us.

We were excited because our 8:30 dinner reservation we arrived early and they seated us at a lovely table 45 minutes early. We ordered big $$ with lobster and wine bottle. But after 2 hours still had no food. We had to rush them because we had to get back to the ship. One steak ordered medium rare was way overcooked. We returned it and no manager ever came to speak with us. Left most of the food and paid $350. Very disappointing….

That was some of the best clam chowder I've ever eaten, highly recommend trying it! I also ate the fish and chips. Fish was cooked well, outer crust had a good texture, but really lacked flavor. I ran out of tartar sauce as I was doing whatever I could to give it some flavor. Fries were standard and nothing more. I'd consider trying plenty of other food, but I wouldn't bother with the fish and chips.

I got fried chicken sandwich and the chicken was raw. They took my lunch off the bill but manager never stopped by table. Took a long time to get bill. After we were ready to go is when server went to ask manager if she could take off bill. Disappointed because last time i came it was a great experience

Nothing was terrible, the total experience was not good. Ordered oysters 1/2 we’re maybe as big as a quarter. The other 1/2 were normal size. Ordered steak and a lobster tail. The steak was fine. The veggie barely warm. But the lobster tail was maybe 2 1/2 inches long. I’ve had larger shrimp in a cocktail. For the price I felt cheated.

The lobster roll was good but the service was grim - we waited a-g-e-s for drinks, and e-o-n-s for our bill. Price of the drinks was too high.

This place is expensive but so are all the other places around there. Its the Seaport! Its easy to get to from 93 - take a left getting off the highway onto Northern Ave and go for about a mile. We did the valet parking which was easy. You can go just past the restaurant and use the traffic circle to get to the other side of the road so you can pull up. We were half an hour early for our reservation but were seated. They gave us a table right against the window and we had a lovely view despite the weather being overcast. I got the white sangria - very tasty and just slightly sweet. We shared the bang bang cauliflower - delicious. The rolls were amazing. For my meal I ordered the blackened cod, which I didn't care for. It was overcooked and only lightly seasoned. We would go back but I would order something different.

Service was spotty, but friendly. Lobster Bake dinner for two... well as a local, I'd say the lobsters were tiny. The swordfish looked dry. My clam linguini was fantastic .

Had a reservation and sat up on the rooftop, after the hostess downstairs directed us up the elevator. Once upstairs, none of the 3 waitresses came to our table, even though they were serving the tables directly in front of and behind us. Despite making eye contact with us multiple times, it took me flagging down one of the passing waitresses to ask for menus. I figured that would let them know we were interested in ordering food/drinks, but I guess not. After waiting another 30 minutes, I approached another waitress and asked what the usual process was. She told me to order from the bartender. When I approached the bartender, he said “Can you please order through one of the girls if you are at a table?”. I explained to him what I was told, & he apologized & took our drink/food order. After we got our food/drinks (finally), we were never checked on for anything, even though by that time new groups were seated around us & actively being served by the waitresses. Despite our reservation in advance, we clearly were not welcomed there, for reasons I will never know I guess. Hands down the worst service I have ever encountered at a restaurant, and I will never return to that location. I would not recommend going there to anyone.

The food was fantastic and our server was super amazing. I would recommend reservations and asking for a table with actual chairs. We ended up at a table with a bench seat and it was uncomfortable but overall we had an amazing dinner experience!

I ordered the shellfish tower for 4 and split it with a friend. It was amazing! Between the two of us we completely demolished that dish.

This has been a gluten free go to for years. The food came out incorrectly, the manager was clueless and when we asked about the incorrect order the server said “I’ll just have to throw it away then.” I live across the street (Park Lane) and have been a loyal customer for over 10 years. The new management is a disaster. The uniforms look like a fast food place. The manager was clueless about allergies. The server was slow and ultimately got everything wrong. BUT the food quality was terrible. I couldn’t finish my overpriced and extremely overcooked salmon. It was not fresh. In my party we all ordered salads. One with grilled chicken and one with shrimp, mine was salmon. We had dry, old small pieces of chicken and the shrimp looked frozen. Total downfall of a previously reliable place. 0/10. Anyone from out of town, don’t go there. So many better places for the same price point: Yankee Lobster is head and shoulders above. SAVR. Ocean Prime for the same price and MUCH better food and service. Literally so many places. I won’t be back.
