Le plat signature du Legal Sea Foods est le poisson vraiment frais. Situé sur la Route 9, dans le centre commercial Chestnut Hill, ce restaurant est l'un des premiers de la chaîne mais reste une attraction populaire parmi les gourmets. Des produits frais sont proposés au bar, dans la salle à manger ouverte, au comptoir de mets à emporter et au marché aux poissons. Le Legal Sea Foods a depuis longtemps prouvé qu'une expérience culinaire de haute qualité ne passe jamais de mode. Avec plus de 40 variétés de poissons frais et de crustacés servis tout au long de l'année accompagnés d'une carte de vins primée, il n'est pas étonnant que des légions d'amateurs aient mordu à l'hameçon ! L'établissement a reçu de nombreuses récompenses, notamment celles de « Meilleur Restaurant de Fruits de Mer » (USA Today, 2013), « Restaurant le Plus Populaire de Boston » (Zagat, 2012/2013), « Meilleur Restaurant de Fruits de Mer » (Improper Bostonian, 2010) et « Meilleure Chaudrée » (Boston Magazine, 2010). Le restaurant a aussi l'honneur de présenter sa légendaire Chaudrée de palourdes de Nouvelle-Angleterre à chaque inauguration présidentielle depuis 1981.

I haven't been to a Legal Seafood in quite some time and haven't been to this location since they expanded and relocated. Great and Open environment. My friend and I were Very impressed by the food (lobster roll like a great Maine Lobster roll; Scallops with street corn was delish). Our waiter was seemingly new so there are some rough spots there, but overall the food and ambiance were great. Prices on the high side, but that is the case these days!

We had a wonderful birthday lunch at Legal Seafood in Chestnut Hill. Our meal was delicious, and our server, John was attentive and polite. We always know that the food at Legal Seafood will be amazing.

It was a busy day so it was loud and crowded. We were disappointed that the portions have become smaller and they have taken some favorites off the menu, like the seaweed salad with the tuna , seafood casserole and the buffalo sauce with the popcorn shrimp.

We had a beautiful time at Legal for Mother's Day. The Chestnut Hill restaurant is one of our go-to places, and it was a beautiful place to spend Mother's Day. Friendly staff, a very good server, and great food. Thank you for making my wife a very happy mother yesterday!!!

Likely due to busy day. Service was OK but not the usual excellent one. The food was just OK at best. My tuna was a bit dry for price paid. My wife's fried oysters were fine but surprised that for the price we had to pay extra for french fries and Cole slaw as main courses all have sides. Noise level was a bit high but place was busy so understandable. Overall, not the usual pleasant experience and not usual exceptional service, but again was a very busy day even at 11:30AM Place should plan ahead for such special days and put a few more servers on duty. Paid a lot but did not leave as happy as usual.

Legal ain’t what it used to be. The food is simply not prepared as well. Seasoning is bland. It’s just not as punchy.

I had a reservation at 7:30 and was not sitted until 8:05. Was not service immediately and my order was not correct . Not running back so fast and why book through open table if it takes so long to be sitted. They were not going to honor my request to sit by the bar area.

The lounge is a highly requested area, and sometimes guests do not move as quickly as one may hope because they are enjoying themselves. We did offer seating in the main dining room at your reserved time but you only wished the lounge area which unfortunately extended your wait. We do try to honor all requests as best that we can and unfortunately sometimes with the amount we get fall short. A nice, quiet luncheon environment with lots of windows and light. Sushi firecracker roll appetizer was OK, but didn't like the French dressing addition and didn't have the nice spicy sauce it usually had. The chowder was very good, the lunch portion of lobster roll was fully packed with delicious large lobster pieces, the fries were very good. The whole meal was nice and hot! The waiter was attentive and friendly , great service this time!

We eat frequently at this restaurant. This trip was a bit disappointing. The meals we had were not as good as the same meals in the past. The rolls were at least a day old. The service was a bit slow. Above all, the prices for many items had increased at least 15% since two months ago. That's a big jump. Declining food quality and service, and increasing prices, is not a healthy combination.

My husband and I had a good dinner. However, it was the first time that the trout (ordered by both of us) was overcooked and dry. In fact, going back many years, it's the first time that any fish dish we've had was overcooked. Our server was excellent.

I thought this area was decent for Chestnut Hill. I came here for a celebration but it look like they didn’t go out of their way to give us a nice table. I had to say I wanted to sit by the window. I am very close to what legal seafood is all about and so the food to self did not disappoint and our server was a nice trainee. Honestly, it’s a really good restaurant and, it was fine. I enjoyed my bake lobster.

The waiter we had was either inexperienced or didn't attend to us. My swordfish wasn't cooked properly and we needed to reach out to another waiter to have the fish cooked more. Then we had to wait a long time to get my dinner back. The waiter was gone for long periods of time, when we wanted to order an additional glass of wine. We decided not to order coffee, because we were concerned our waiter wouldn't appear for a long time. We have never had an experience like this at Legals Sea Foods, Chestnut Hill.

The swordfish that we both had was fabulous. The waiter was so nice! However, this wasn’t the first time that the martini’s we both ordered tasted awful. I don’t think many of the bar tenders know how to make a French martini. This was the third time I have been disappointed in the drinks. But, the food was terrific.

Not the Legal of old. Needs upgrade badly. Fish & chips not too good—too much breading. Kinda dirty throughout. Sad😪 Must say the oysters were excellent but not enough to bring us back.

The food was fine. Our biggest issue was the service. The waiter was not well informed and couldn't answer our questions. Food took a long time to come out. Nobody offered us water until we got our waiter to do it.

Hello Bruce, I apologize for the lack of service. and having to wait for water. I'm curious about what questions your server couldn't answer. We are constantly sharing knowledge with our staff so if something was missed it's good to know so we can make sure it's not missed again. My gift card for $20 was not accepted because it had expired 6 weeks previously. It was only good for 2 months, which I had not noticed. This ruined the experience of being out to dinner. For only $20 Legal Seafood treated a previously regular customer shoddily.
