Inspired by the birthplace of the original Parisian brasseries along the Left Bank of the Seine River, Left Bank Brasserie is an authentic Parisian-style brasserie by Chef Roland Passot. Left Bank pays homage to the joie
de vivre that is synonymous with the Left Bank neighborhood in Paris. Guests are invited to step into
French culture, in a vibrant, social atmosphere that captures all the charm of traditional brasseries
and iconic alfresco dining of France. An all-day menu features authentic French cuisine utilizing
seasonal, local and organic ingredients, and consists of iconic lighter fare such as oysters, tartare and
prawns provençal, in addition to heartier classics like coq au vin and beef bourguignon. Inspired by the
Parisian-style Bar Américain, an extensive cocktail menu features classics of a bygone era, along with a
wide range of rotating taps, seasonal drafts and bottled beer, and an expertly-curated wine selection.

Great brunch menu and spot right on the water. The food was very good and the ambience on the patio was great, except when the musician got too loud. When I made the reservation, it asked if it was a special occasion to which I responded that Yes it was a birthday celebration. That was never acknowledged at our meal, so why bother asking. The wait staff needs to be told not to snatch individuals' plates away the second they have finished eating whilst two of the four guests are still eating. I was going to share some of my fruit with the young woman across the table from me and they grabbed her side plate and fork before I had the chance to say "leave her side plate alone." At least the poached egg yolks were runny, which so many other restaurants can't seem to manage to get right.

Everything we tried was great. The staff was wonderful and friendly especially Max! Kudos for bringing a wonderful spot to JLS! We’ll be back for sure!

Alejandro took great care of us for our 20th anniversary. We had two orders of oysters, one of the escargot, one chef’s special (scallops), and a tuna tartare. Everything was delicious and we will be back. Recommend taking advantage of the happy hour prices.

The restaurant was very loud so it was difficult to hear each other. The Bouillabaisse was terrible and was sent back. The waitress loudly discussed how her tip needed to be paid. Sigh.

Gem! Gorgeous restaurant, excellent menu and exquisite food, attentive and helpful service, in short, everything you would possibly want and for a reasonable price! I hope other diners make it a regular destination, as we intend to do!

I had the salmon and the oysters, and my husband had the onion soup and the skirt steak. Everything was really really good. My salmon was perfectly cooked and the oysters were sweet and fresh. This was our second time at this restaurant and the first visit was equally good.

We waited a long time for a table and then when we sat down, it took a long time before the server came. The outside door was open and it was extremely cold at the table. We were there for about an hour and a half before we got bread. The server did bring us a couple of free glasses of wine once we finally got our food., but it was a long evening. I understand Mother’s Day is really tough! I have eaten here other times and had a great experience!! I will be back (but not on Mother’s Day!!
