    Wonderful dining experience tasting some creative and delicious dishes. In particular, I didn't know what to expect with the pig's foot or the foie gras profiterole. I could not have imagined all those mouthwatering ingredients and flavors of the pig's foot dish. The buttery texture of the foie gras ice cream, so good! It was a fun and delicious experience.

    An excellent tasting menu with some touches of originality. The halibut dish was the best I’ve eaten since arriving from the UK. The smoked scallop truly fresh and tasty. The foie Gras dessert made you think but for me really worked Good wine list and very knowledgable team to help guide you If you get chance definitely go

    I’ve wanted to dine here for 10 years or so .. Did not disappoint! I took my son here for his 26th birthday. Service was great ! Chef team were on it - food was amazing ! We had both vegetarian and omnivore tasting menus Every course was on point - the timing was impeccable, the wine list exceptional. The recommendation for our wine was perfect! The only thing that detracted from the experience was the dance music from the club above the restaurant. About a quarter way through our experience the bass was so intense / loud it shook the entire room and would do so here and there throughout the evening. I could see ripples in my wine glass. How could the club owners be so insensitive as to disrespect an institution of Portland culture… after all of the hard work and love that has been poured to this room. At least they could wait until the last seating was over to start the dance party!!! Either way - well worth every penny spent !!! Cheers and hats off to the team of le pigeon !! Thank you so very much for making our evening so wonderful !!! Highly recommended !!!

    Flawless execution from every angle, with conceptually creative, visually appealing, and, most importantly, delicious food, attentive & knowledgeable waiting staff, and a cozy, non-pretentious atmosphere. We covered all the bases between the two possible menus, the optional items, and both levels of wine pairings. I had the non-vegetarian menu & each course had very well balanced, familiar & satisfying flavors & textures, often in unusual yet surprisingly well complementing combinations, like pig’s foot with escargot or seared foie gras with rabbit spam. It was obvious that a lot of research went into the wines in both pairings, which were all wonderful & perfectly matched to food, and included some really interesting positions like a sweet vouvray or a buttery veltliner. Hat off to the Chef for pulling off such an exquisite experience without any weird foams or overly ambitious challenges for the taste buds. If & when Michelin starts covering Portland, Le Pigeon will undoubtedly make its starred list!

    The radio or whatever was too high. Food and service were fine. Wine was outstanding! Will return for special occasions. Nice to see a Paley protege's work. All hail, Vito. Gabriel's amazing.

    From the time we sat down to our last course everything was spot on. Chefs interacted with us and answered all of our questions. I love that they offer an omnivore and vegetarian course. My girlfriend did the regular menu and I did the vegetarian. I highly recommend checking this place out if you’re ever in the Portland area.
