Le Petit Beefbar, by Ricardo Giraudi - born from a desire to create a destination to enjoy incredible meat, produce and unforgettable dining experiences. Nestled in the heart of Edinburgh new town, George Street, just a short walk to Edinburgh’s Royal Mile and Edinburgh Castle.

Our menu centres around the best quality produce and carefully selected beef cuts. From the classic steak options on offer to Beefbar specials such as Croque Sando filled served with Beefbar’s signature sauce to Kobe beef jamon. On Sundays, experience live jazz music as you enjoy our Sunday lunch. Featuring slow-roasted Black Angus beef and roast free-range chicken in Beefbar sauce, with all the sides and lashings of Beefbar gravy.

Had Easter lunch with my family of 7! The service, Sunday roast and the music made it such a fun and great experience! Good value for money, I would go back!

Great steak frites in Edinburgh. And the dessert is amazing as well. Cocktails are great but on the pricier side for Edinburgh

An interesting venue as it was bright and vibrant with a slightly confusing menu. We were described the tasting concept but inn actual fact as a larger table it would have been better to explain that all dishes are made for two people so not really suitable for sharing between 10! Service was attentive at times but badly managed and several times we were asked or offered items two or three times by different staff. In short it would have been better to describe the menu as shared between two for each plate and that the chef does not (prefers not) serve all items at once so people will have to wait and should eat when items arrrive.

Went for a Sunday Roasts with friends and the whole experience was lovely. Both the food and service was great and the staff especially were very attentive and friendly. Definitely recommend.

It was easy to get a same day table. The wagyu was outstanding. The vegetables amazing. Nice place for a romantic dinner.

Great atmosphere but very expensive for what it is. Both our steaks were very salty, as were the sautéd mushrooms.

Restaurant connected to Intercontinental. Food was good but overpriced. Decor was reminiscent of a hotel buffet breakfast room as opposed to a nice steakhouse. Would not go for a special occasion. Staff was nice. Our order was mishandled but they apologized and made it right.

The food was beautiful but slightly cold. I arrived and ordered a wine which didn’t arrive so had to re-order. That was the general theme for the service. You had to ask again or it took around 20-30 mins to get a drink. The setting is beautiful and location superb just a real shame about the service and slightly cold food.

The food was outstanding. A group of 8 and all were raving about their meals. Excellent advice for gluten free options. Only issue was having to chase sides that we’d ordered.

The restaurant itself is stunning and the ambience is brilliant. Staff were amazing and so lovely. The food was delicious but unfortunately was stone cold. Because the room is filled with marble and the tables are also marble, everything gets cold very quickly. They give you a tealight to keep your steak warm but it doesn’t really help and it just cooks your steak more which is not really what you want. Wine was fabulous and i felt it was very good value for money! Would recommend going in summer when it is not so cold.

First time dining here, as always looking for new steak venues. This restaurant didn’t disappoint and my wife and I both enjoyed the chateaubriand. The restaurant is very well appointed and the service was very good. The only negative was the noise level but maybe that’s expected on a busy Saturday night, but will not stop us returning.
