Once again I’d like to thank Josie who continues to go above and Beyond making sure their patrons are well served treated . Been coming down to this restaurant for quite a while Now . And Now it has become a more frequented visit and if anybody or anyone still has yet to eat at this fine establishment Don’t wait any Longer pick up that phone make that reservation the aroma the food is gonna drive your taste Buds to insanity. And the vast collection of wine Not to mention vast selection of their Menu

Warm reception. Gracious, kind, thoughtful service. Best quality ingredients. Truly fine cuisine. Every item from the kitchen was a treat for the taste buds, eyes, and spirit. Elegant, classic, welcoming dining room. We all look forward to next time. Thank you to Josie, and all the other professionals, who made this wonderful restaurant an impeccable and rare dining experience.

Service was great. Steak was overcooked and pasta was average. It was extremely quiet. Restaurant really could use a makeover. Not the vibes we were looking for. Extensive wine list though.

Outstanding food and memorable service. The staff at Le Muscadin treat you as one of their own. It feels as though you’re being taken on an authentic Italian culinary experience in the comfort of their home. They make you feel like a part of their family for the night. One of the greatest meals I’ve had in my life.

The food was amazing. Service was excellent and did a great job with French and English speakers. We also had a vegan and they were very attentive to their needs as well.

Located in Old Montreal, this classic Italian “restaurante” serves expertly prepared food with white coated service, and a charming captain who oversees the entire “play” while handling the table side dishes-Zabaione, Crepes etc.. This place does the classics very well. Caesar salad was appropriately dressed with a savory anchovy based dressing. The penne a la vodka was absolutely delicious, and the tortllini en brodo tasted as if was prepared by someone’s Nonna living in Bologna. In a word, perfection on this cold spring night. The veal was pounded thin, cut with a fork tender, and married to the perfect lemon-butter-white wine, capered piccata sauce. Delicious! The wine list is EXTENSIVE and largely Italian. We choose a Puglian red that was moderately priced and perfectly delicious. All was finished with Crepes Suzette prepared at our tablet, the perfect ending.

Lovely and knowledgable, helpful staff with generous portions (really enough for 2 ppl!). The linguine vongole and tiramisu were so good. Being a family led restaurant was pretty special.

Pure magic! The martinis (Violette - can’t get this gin in the US) were a great start. But the food - o mio dio!! And the service - Josie remembered us from last summer. Her father was delightful, as were our servers, Jimmy and Daniel. We will be back. ❤️

This is an incredible spot! The food was AMAZING and the service was even better. It felt like eating with family and we had a great conversation with the owner while she made our table-side crepes!! Will 100% be returning!

Comme toujours, nous avons très bien mangé au Muscadin. Meilleur resto italien à Montréal selon mon mari et moi. Ambiance agréable. Les propriétaires sont très gentils et nous font toujours sentir comme des clients importants. Le chef fait très attention aux allergies alimentaires. La carte des vins est très bien.

My best friend and I meet in Montreal for a girl’s getaway— our time is not complete without a dinner at this lovely restaurant. From the moment you walk in you’re greeted with warmth and made to feel like you’re the most important guest. The food is outstanding— incredibly authentic Italian cuisine—and the service is impeccable. They have an impressive wine list along with knowledge regarding the different selections. We love coming here and it’s a true delight to dine in this lovely restaurant.

You never know what experience you will have as a solo diner. I tried to dine here a few months ago but there was no availability. This time I made sure to make a reservation and was not disappointed. From the moment I walked in to the moment I left I was treated as a friend. The food was fantastic, I enjoyed listening to conversations of the other diners, and most importantly, everybody made my evening away from home feel like home. I will certainly return when I'm back in the area. Oh, and try the pistachio pasta!

Amazing dinner celebrating happy life moments. As always, food is incredible, great ambiance and the staff, owners and live entertainment deserve the recognition for their attentive professionalism. The staff is incredible and the food is outstanding! We went on a Saturday night for my boyfriend’s birthday and they had live music. It was so romantic! At the end one of the beautiful servers gave me a yellow rose. 10/10 Can’t wait to go back!
