Le Jardinier is an approachable yet refined vegetable-driven restaurant from Michelin-starred Chef Alain Verzeroli. Rooted in classic French technique, Verzeroli has created a menu where plants play a prominent role: local, seasonal fruits and vegetables, fresh herbs, and greens are complemented by fish, meat and poultry. The wine list features over 350 references, and has an international focus drawing heavily on the French regions of Champagne, Burgundy, and Bordeaux. Cocktails utilize high quality craft spirits, fortified wines, fresh herbs, and house made tinctures and bitters.

We had a beautiful lunch at Le Jardinier while visiting friends in NYC. Couldn’t ask for a better experience. The food and service was fantastic.

Unfortunate table in an otherwise unoccupied room. It was expensive for the small portions that we received. I found the staff and desk management to be inexperienced and confused. Condescension was their amo when queried as they were painfully inexperienced. At those prices, we could have had a much better experience and better food at La Grenouille or Majorelle. Never again!

The whole experience was amazing. My daughter and I treated ourselves. Our server was knowledgeable and seemed to genuinely enjoy explaining the dishes. The dishes themselves were not only beautiful, but delicous. We didn’t do the tasting menu due to the price but ended up spending more because we kept adding to our order. We didn’t want to miss out on anything! It was not just a meal but a memory I will treasure.

We were running a few minutes late due to a family emergency & scheduled to get there when the kitchen closed but they graciously agreed to seat us since it was our anniversary. Once we got there, everything was perfect…the soothing, zen decor of fresh green plants everywhere, exceptionally warm service and the piece de resistance was of course the food. Each dish was more beautiful & delicious than the last - the balance of each ingredient just perfect…and the desserts were just the sweet ending to the meal we needed. Thanks to all the staff who made our special day extra special!!

The best part about this place is the decor & feel of it like you’re in a garden. The food was tasty and service was decent. Just not sure if it’s really a Michelin level restaurant. We’ve been to many and this place really not on the same level. Again, it was decent but expected more since it has a Michelin rating.
