Great staff. Had a bit of a “discussion” with gentleman at wine bar. I believe he was just ringing me out and not the sommelier as my glass of wine was a bit off and I just wanted a repour. He did not agree and there was some push back. I wasn’t asking for anything free just a new glass after I had only taken a sip. Otherwise great experience. Staff in dining area super attentive and friendly.

Love the backyard concept! Very Friendly staff - we didn’t know you had to order at a different place when we sat until about 10 min in the host came to our table and the one next to us. They give you a number and after your order food and drinks they’ll bring it over. Everything is grilled which is great but the food didn’t stay hot long which isn’t ideal but comes with the outdoor territory vibe. Lamb chops were great and so was the broccolini and cauliflower steak. Octopus was OK. A bit overpriced for a place with essentially no service and food being cold after a few min. I’m glad we went but don’t think it’s on top list to come back as there’s other healthy similar places in LA that offer farm to table

The dishes are always great. Tasty and grilled to perfection with some of the best and most original sauces I have every had. Skewers of both shrimp and chicken were perfectly grilled and not over done. The vegetable dishes are not only great to eat but also beautifully presented with accents of edible flowers. In the background a lively playlist provides a rhythmic and lively musical surround that still permits conversation in intimate tones. While the seating is mostly outdoors the tables are covered and nearby heaters provide a comfortable warmth. Service is amazingly fast and considerate. We had a possible case of cross-contamination since my daufhter has an allergy to shellfish and the shrimp and chicken arrived on the same serving plate. The solution the restaurant quickly provided was to cook another chicken skewer that would be protected from possible contact. I also love the Brazilian black beer. LGOR has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants.

What a fun experience! This was my first time going to Le Great Outdoor and I absolutely loved it. We ordered an assortment of tartines, veggies, and chicken skewers. My favorite tartine was the sardine one. The beet veggies were really delicious, and chicken was good too. Great wine options as well. We had a chilled red that was from Argentina - loved it. Looking forward to coming back here on a warm summer night since it was a bit chilly when we were here but they have plenty of heat lamps to keep the space warm and covered from the elements.

The service staff are nice however hard to track down when you need something. Dishes with bread that are meant to be shared - have minimal pieces of bread and they have you buy more bread - which is a real bummer. Bruschetta is WAY TOO garlicky… otherwise veggie options and salmon are delish

Very unique concept. I personally would prefer having a traditional wait staff but that’s just my preference. The aroma of the grill was wonderful, but I wasn’t impressed with my chicken skewer or my grilled pumpkin. The atmosphere is fun however and I can see how some people would love it, it was quite crowded! Try it out!

The food was delicious. My only complaint: the patio needed more heat for a frosty evening. Take a warm jacket. Honey and goat cheese appetizer outstanding. Tomato Bruschetta perfection. Vegetables perfectly roasted. Chicken is tender and moist. Fun vibe.

The food never disappoints. I was apprehensive of a fixed menú for Valentines Day because it had things I would not normally eat, but it was so good. Everyone loved it.

Our veggies were so mushy, you basically have to serve yourself, we had to ask for water and silverware so many times, and I weirdly felt sick and bloated after. Overhyped and we paid $140 for 2 people. They didn’t even let us know we way over ordered for two people even though they knew it was our first time: :/

While the veggie dishes were great, the shrimp skewers were over-cooked and lacked flavor. With no table service, there was no one to tell and we did not want to get in the food ordering line to do so. We also did not expect the mussels would be from a can especially at $21.

First time going to the restaurant (with a reservation) and wasn’t checked in till 20 mins after. Once our table was ready (the “hostess”) just said “it’s the only open table once you go up the stairs” … we found our table in the very back corner, which was fine… but we waited for 20 mins to be served. Come to find out you have to order at the register where we checked in. Had no clue. Additionally I believe the plates are made to be shared but we were given zero guidance on how many plates to order etc. I then waited 15 minutes in line to order the food. Mind you, it was quite chilly (reservation at 8pm) and 2/4 of the heaters up stairs went out. We mentioned it to one of the runners twice but it never got fixed. Once our food came — we ordered ~8 plates/2 people, they all came at once. The apps were not coursed at all and as you can imagine there was no room at the table for all the dishes. The runner was able to grab a little side table but it was barley enough, the dishes were nearly tipping over the edge. By the time we even ate the apps, the mains were cold. I feel like these were easy fixes but it felt super chaotic and ruined the dinner experience. Especially after dropping $150+ on dinner. Sorry but don’t want to have to leave the table and order at a register w/ no guidance on best dishes, how many to order, the process etc. Don’t think the food is good enough to return.

The food and vibe were great - it felt like we were dining in someone’s backyard! The portions were a little small and expensive, so I wouldn’t go if you are expecting a big meal or if you are trying to find something budget friendly, but overall, we had a really nice time.

Overall experience really good. The team were all genuinely really nice and helpful. The food quality was amazing. The only reason why I didn’t give 4 stars was the ambiguity around where to check in for our reservation and how to get a table

Second time there. The vibe is excellent. Comfortable, lively, outdoors (obv). Everything we ordered was delicious, especially the whole branzino. Great place to go with a group of friends.

It was difficult to get a reservation at this place, but when we came, there were still plenty of empty tables (not sure why they don't release them to Open table). The food was tasty, but incredibly greasy and pricey. The ambiance is super basic. So I won't be coming back anytime soon.

Still continues to be my favorite spot in LA. The food is all so crisp and clean, simple yet delicious. Incredible atmosphere, always a great crowd with fantastic service. Run, don’t walk if you haven’t been.

Love the ease of dining out here. Food is amazing! Wine selections are great! It’s the perfect place to catch up with an old friend and get some generously served shared plates.

Such a lively ambiance and a great place for dinner with friends. The grilled vegetables are all fantastic (could probably use less oil overall), but great variety and well seasoned, nonetheless. Highly recommend the grilled seafood options.

Really fun concept and amazing dishes that taste so rich and fresh. I booked this reservation months ago, and I will say it’s disappointing to be in the 2 person area. You miss out on being in the primary area of the restaurant where they are cooking the food. I recommend going with a larger group so you don’t get cast aside in the very tight, cafe like area.

Relaxed atmosphere with industrial vibe. We went for an early Saturday dinner and were surrounded by many families with young kids, giving the feel of an extended-family dinner. You don't have a waiter, instead you order/ collect drinks at their "wine shop" and food at their front desk. Servers do bring your food and bus your dirty plates. The food was fresh and quite good. Everything is cooked over live wood coals, so the food is definitely smoke/char forward, which I LOVE. Can't wait to go back.
