    The portions are relatively small The pork ribs were great The beef dish we always get ($40) is just so small For the price Chicken dish we got was small Chicken dumplings were good The crispy noodles were not good amd a rip off

    Our meal was amazing. The ambiance was fantastic. We used to live in Singapore and the restaurant made me feel like we were back in Singapore. Our server was friendly & professional.

    We have eaten here many times and have always enjoyed the food and especially the lichee martinis. My soup this time was not as flavorful as a Thai tom ka gai soup which was a mild disappointment considering they have very similar ingredients. My tuna tartar was excellent, as was my wife's salmon. I'm not an expert on Vietnamese cuisine so I cannot say whether the food here is not geared more towards colonial tastes than true Vietnamese fare, but it's a fun place to eat and those martinis go down easily.

    Our waitress was amazing. Drinks were delicious. Food was hot, fresh and mouth watering. Overall great experience celebrating two birthdays.

    This was my first time dining at Le Colonial, and it was a delightful experience. The decor fits the theme perfectly. Our group sat upstairs in their lounge area as the downstairs was under renovation. We created our own family-style tasting menu, sampling a few dishes from each category. Notable standouts were the spicy organic tofu curry (Tau Hu Cari), the spicy chicken stir-fry (Ga Xao Ca Ot), and the coconut sticky rice. The cocktails were generous pours and delicious. There are still many more dishes that I want to try, so I hope to return sometime soon! A member of the group had a food allergy (gluten), and, along with the menu being clearly marked, the staff were extremely clear on which dishes they could sample once they were brought to the table. The kitchen also placed any offending components off to the side when possible for some dishes so they could still enjoy the main dish. Other dishes we ordered, knowing they wouldn't be able to consume them, but the server taking the order and the person bringing the dish to the table reiterated dishes containing gluten and potential contamination (same fryer). Their care was much appreciated so there were no surprises.

    Appetizers were all excellent but my stir fry shrimp could have used a touch more sauce. Still as my spouse's main course and all the appetizers were excellent that is the rating I will give the food. Service very good and noise level was moderate. All and all a very good dinner.
