Came here for the first time today and was blown away. Easily one of my top 5 restaurants in Chicago now. Staff was friendly & accommodating. And each dish was better than the last. For reference, we had the half roast duck, chicken curry, shrimp stir fry, and Rau Xao. I can’t wait to come back.

The evening was great until a manager told us we had been there too long. Ordering food and beverage with a bill in excess of $400. Our server was a gem and amazing.

Re: our policy, as stated on OpenTable, we kindly ask all to adhere to a 2hr visit so we can honor ALL guests & reservation times. We want everyone to have a wonderful time. However, seating all promptly & comfortably is also an aim, just as we seated your party on time. Your reservation was for 3:30PM & your party was seated for over 4hrs at a highly sought-after window porch table. Our system books guests based on a 2hr average, so the staff was trying to 're-route' guests as long as they could, but double the wait time is a stretch, esp when guests who booked months ago were kept waiting. We'll look into how the staff handled this. Thank you for your understanding!

We would return for the ambience, excellent service, and interesting cocktails, but my wife and I were both disappointed in our entree, the vegetable stir fry. It was not very tasty, and bed of hard noodles gave the dish an odd texture. We'll try something else next time. The beef pho I had before my entree was excellent. Prices are reasonable considering the quality of the restaurant and service.

The food was delicious, our server was attentive and helpful, and the space is beautiful. We booked this dinner to celebrate a birthday (which we noted when making the reservation), and nobody we spoke to from checking in at the hostess stand onward acknowledged it in any way. Why even ask if someone is celebrating a special occasion if you don't plan to differentiate their experience accordingly? The least you can do is verbally acknowledge that someone chose your restaurant to commemorate an important moment in their life. I expected more from a place that seemingly puts thought and care into their food, operations, and environment.
