Located on the first floor of The Morrow Hotel. Le Clou is a modern French brasserie by Michelin-star chef Nicholas Stefanelli. Le Clou is rooted in classic flavors with modern sensibility. A wrap-around marble bar, striking chandeliers, and gilded finishes give Le Clou an iconic French aesthetic but also the modern vibrant character of its neighborhood of NoMa.

Let me just say that I came for the dessert. Okay with that said, I did not have the experience that I sought out to have. The restaurant ambiance is nice, the food was great and the service was excellent however I drove into the city on a Friday for a specific dessert… the Paris Brest that this restaurant has been featured for. But alas, when I ask for dessert I was informed that they do not have this one specific item and I had to settle for bread pudding that was “okay”. Oh well, the meal was nice so it wasn’t a loss.

I took my 95 year old mother there for Mothers Day. The food was delicious, and they were very accommodating for my mother and her walker. We will return!

A lovely spot for Brunch in NOMA. The room is bright and airy, the food was delicious and service staff was excellent, we felt very cared for. Highly recommended.

The ambiance was great, it’s located right inside of the hotel to the right. When we arrived the restaurant was nearly empty with only 3 other tables that were occupied. They have an extensive French wine list that I was excited to explore but neither the waiter or the other person that he asked to come over knew anything about the wine list and could not make a recommendation or give any insights into the wine menu. It was extremely disappointing. We ended up ordering an appetiser, getting a glass of wine off the regular menu and leaving. I wouldn’t return.

We live in the neighborhood and love this place. We have celebrated several special events there since their opening, but our last dinner had unexpected disappointments. The delicious bread that once greeted you, now costs $12. The neighborhood discount gone. The food was still delicious, and the service impecable … but this restaurant will not survive on hotel traffic alone. They need locals, so I am hoping that they reinstate the bread service … it’s a nice meal, but a pricey one … and bread service does not seem worth leaving a bad aftertaste in a repeat customers mouth.
