Located in the historic Castle building in downtown Rochester, MN, Latitude 44 delivers an unparalleled atmosphere whether our guests are dining or enjoying an evening of cocktails in our comfortably appointed cocktail lounge.

The kitchen creations are driven by award winning “Chef Spiccoli” who utilizes his talents to bring an elevated, yet welcoming approach to both traditional and modern cuisine.

The cocktail program consists of an array of offerings from playful to sophisticated. Our mixologists have an extensive knowledge of both wine and spirts.

Our group was 5 gals in our mid 30’s for a bachelorette party. When I made the reservation I was looking for a place that could accommodate dairy & gluten allergies along with being a classy & fun atmosphere- Latitude 44 delivered!! The decor, chairs, layout, chandeliers, “Good Vibes Only” photo area made this place the perfect setting to the beginning of our fun night out. Our waiter was amazing- he was patient with us, gave recommendations on drinks & food, was playful & fun and even found us some pins to help hold our sashes up(I’m sorry I cannot remember his name!).

We enjoyed our experience at Latitude 44. Our waiter was attentive and was able to answer questions we had about the menu. Though we found the menu limited, we were all able to find an entree to suit our needs. The one drawback was the noise level. It was a full house and those with hearing problems at times had to strain to hear above the noise. Despite that, our evening was very enjoyable and we would not hesitate to return.

Great date night dinner. Wait staff were outstanding! Nice cook on the Filet and Pave potatoes are a must.

The wait staff was very good and very friendly. Even as we left the restaurant, everybody greeted us and thanked us for coming. We were disappointed that they took the Philly sandwich off the menu. That has always been a favorite, especially of my husband, and he had noted that Latitude 44 had the best Philly sandwich he had in his life. 😎 So we were a bit disappointed that it had been removed from the menu. Would be willing to pay a premium for that if it was brought back. Thank you,

Ambience was good, food was just alright. Too expensive for just okay food. Food took a good 45mins or more from time of order to arrival.

Not impressed. Food was either overpriced or subpar quality. My crab cakes tasted like they had a lot of filler in them and had been deep fried. The charcuterie board was overpriced for what we received on the board. My brother in laws ribeye was subpar quality. We won’t be back.
