Lardo in Mexico City is known for chef Elena Reygadas' cooking of Mediterranean food from a wood burning oven. Diners are encouraged to share. We do not accept pets.

Lardo serves breakfast with egg dishes like croque madame and sandwiches. For dinner, choose from a number of small plates like ham, cheese and salads. There are also pastas, pizzas and grilled foods like octopus with chorizo, tuna, calamari, squid and beef. Desserts at Lardo include tiramisu and sorbets. A large attractive bar with excellent vintages along with the open kitchen provide a fun place to enjoy a meal.

Es un lugar muy agradable, rústico chic con buena música. Parece un sitio de moda y estaba full y animado. Sin embargo, la comida buena pero no excepcional. Pedimos de entrada una burrata que estaba seca y sin sabor y un pulpo, camarones y lasaña de berenjenas. Todo lo anterior sin mucho carácter. En ese sentido, me pareció muy caro para lo que brinda.

We made reservations in advance of our honeymoon trip to Mexico City, letting the reservations guide our day time activities. With the release of the Michelin Guide right before we left we felt fortunate with our choices, which also included Pujol. Our private tour ended a little early and we were hungry so Uber delivered us an hour early to Lardo. The hostess was gracious and found us a table quickly. Our waitress arrived quickly and got us drinks from the bar. We opted for five dishes from menu, all smaller portions easy to share- very Mediterranean! Overall the meal was delicious and served well. Moderately priced (especially compared to Pujol!) and certainly met our expectations.

2nd time at Lardo and had another excellent meal. From our drinks, to appetizers and main courses, everything was very good. The chocolate dessert was guacamole ice cream was unique and very refreshing.

We had the most incredible dinner at Lardo and in large thanks to our fantastic server, Javier! In our group of four, we have one life-threatening peanut allergy and a gluten allergy. Javier was extremely attentive to these allergies and happily made modifications in our dishes to accommodate us. Knowing we were safe in what we were eating made the food that much better! We LOVE the pita bread, hummus, and baba ganoush. The lamb kabobs (more like tacos) are incredible. Our group ordered the eggplant, pappardelle, prawns, and white fish, and everything was delicious. Will be back for sure on our next trip to CDMX!

Really great restaurant! Cool vibe and our food was delicious- especially the lamb kabobs (on tortillas) and the bruschetta with tomatoes and anchovies. House bread is a nice specialty there.

We had high hopes for our meal here, based on the restaurant's reputation. Overall, we were disappointed. Wine prices are off the charts - more than $230 MX for a glass of wine! The entre described as "lamb kabobs" turned out to some type of taco and did not even taste like lamb. And charging $250 MX for essentially two tacos of just meat is excessive. The salad was drenched in dressing - and I like dressing, but this was too much. Service was lack-luster - the waiter kept forgetting my husband's beer. There are many great restaurants in this area with more reasonable prices and better food.

Llegue a la hr de mi cita y estuve esperando 20 mins porque no tenian la mesa. No me gustó. Desde la mañana me habian llamado para confirmar cosa que normalmente no sucede y no valoro. Si estoy usando la App es para evitar estar llamando y confirmando
