Waiter said they were short on help in the kitchen. An hour and we had not even been served bread. Hubby finally walked out.

Landry’s have been changing it's menu and recipes over time and ,currently, due to mass restaurants from the parent company, taste of the food is nothing short of generic.

Concert was cancelled so we wanted to relax and have a nice unrushed visit. Matt was perfectly attentive and made our time there enjoyable and pleasant. Landry’s is consistently wonderful each time I go! See ya’ll again soon 😃👍

Seated quickly and drink orders taken in a timely manner. Drinks delivered and food order taken. All the tables around us were given bread, but we had to ask for ours. Had to ask for my dinner salad, and then food arrived a minute or two later. Food was good. Service was poor. It was incredibly loud, to the point you couldn’t have a conversation during the meal. We asked why the music was so loud and the assistant manager said “we like to crank it up”. Not a great experience - I realize the restaurant is in a casino, but you should be able to talk with those at your table.

Terrible beverages. I know it’s a casino… but shorting alcohol is a terrible practice. 2 different drinks and both watered down.

We sat outside which was a great choice as the inside can get crowded. Food was good. Drinks were pricey as expected for the location. Would recommend and will probably revisit in the future.

LANDRY'S SERVES GREAT FOOD AND PPROVIDES GREAT SERVICE EVEN WITH A PACKED HOUSE. MANAGER STEVE HARVEY IS ON TOP OF EVERYTHING AND GOES NON-STOP TO TAKE OF THE CUSTOMERS. HIS STAFF IS WELL TRAINED AND ERIC WAS ONE OF THE BEST I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED ANY WHERE. WE HAD A MOST ENJOYABLE EVENING !!!

I was not very happy with your restaurant It was very noisy and our table was not what I had expected! I guess I was thinking it was going to be a little more private setting! It was very loud music and staff was running all around our area! It felt like we were in the way! We were seated near door area too! Windy evening! lol I was not all impressed either with the food! Sorry! I guess I should have researched it better!

The service and wait time for seating and our food order was great. The gumbo was bland and could be more flavorful. When we get the chance to go back will try something different.

My wife and I had a great dinner experience. Ethan our waiter was very good, checked on us often to see if we needed anything. Food was great as always. The bread pudding was amazing.

Grilled oysters appetizer was not good, didn't taste fresh and they were rubbery. I forgot to put it on my Landrys card & no one asked.

When we check in to the GNLC, our first stop is to Landry's for an early dinner. Manager Marie always takes care of our seating. Suggest you ask for Jordan as your waiter. He is the best hands-down! Even when we do not remember what our favorite steak is, Jordan will remember what we ordered on our previous visit. Landry's has the best oysters and you can ask for large or small size, as they shuck them fresh at the restaurant. Be sure and try Landry's steaks. They are cooked to perfection. Thank you to Jordan and Marie for making our dining experience outstanding! They are why we consistently visit Landry's at GNLC.

The food was good. The portion were huge. My husband & I couldn’t finish everything. Tasha was superb. We didn’t need to ask for anything. She anticipated drinks and extra napkins.

Service for drinks and food was extremely slow. Waited for over 20mins for drinks. The red fish special was over cooked. The fried crawfish on the half and half was just chunks of batter, no crawfish. The waiter was nice but unfortunately he has no control of the bar or the kitchen.

The food was awesome. We had the char-grilled oysters, along with the bacon wrapped shrimp for appetizers. The main meal consisted of the reddish Charlie with the sweet potato topped with pecans, and the shrimp fettuccine. Our server was outstanding, his name is Jordan.

Made a reservation months ago only to arrive to have the reservation delayed one hour because of large parties. Um ok not my three persons parties fault. Finally seated only to have to have one and a half to two hours for food only for my order to be wrong. Management didn't seem to care. Will not eat here again.

Went to Landry's for my mom's 80th birthday while staying at the Golden Nugget. Went down before our reservation time and talked to manager to make sure they were okay with a few birthday decorations on the table. He was very nice about it. Unfortunately, we had a waiter who seemed like he would rather be anywhere else other that an Landry's! He was not personable or friendly at all. I thought it was rude he didn't tell my mom happy birthday when we were obviously celebrating her 80th due to the decorations. We were in the middle of ordering and he turned around and started talking to another table! I asked if there was a birthday dessert, and his reply was so put out assuming that I only wanted a free dessert, we just decided not to order any and just go. I did inform the manager on duty that this was not the type of service we are used to at other Landry's. This really put a damper on a special occasion. Very disappointing! The food, however, was very good!

The only reason for the four stars is because the portion of the fish was to small to justify its price. There wasn’t a portion size on the fish so I thought it would be larger then the rib eye. It wasn’t. So because I can’t justify the price of a piece of red fish being so high, I had to give it four stars. Other then that, the venue it’s self was really nice and so we’re the servers.

The Landry's in the Golden Nugget Lake Charles is overcrowded and chaotic. I had a reservation and still waited thirty minutes. The tables were dirty and unstable. There were severs reaching over me to get wine bottles from cabinets. The shrimp kisses were under cooked and made my husband sick.

This time unlike my previous visits the service was slower than usual. My drink wasn't being refilled. The hamburg my friend got was like shoe leather. Things just didn't move smoothly. Also the side of mustard was a VERY small amount.
