L'Amore is a great Italian restaurant in Little Italy Manhattan. The food is delicious, the service is great and it has a very warm and comforting atmosphere. I loved the homemade lasagna and the fried calamari. I would definitely recommend it to anybody visiting the restaurant.

Loved my lunch at L’Amore. Delicious green salad, amazing vegetarian lasagna and terrific tiramisu. Excellent service and reasonable prices. Definitely recommend.

Went here for my best friends surprise birthday dinner, absolutely wonderful! Manager made sure we had the best food and experience! The waitstaff was also amazing and made sure everything was perfect from the food to the drinks!

Food is okay although the lobster was a little bit raw. It took a long time to get our food. They are so excited to invite you in but after you ordered your food, you are almost forgotten and ignored. A lot of better choices for better restaurant. I will not come back.

The restaurant that I booked was closed due to issues with the rain and they all see us a couple of doors down to another restaurant with the same chef and owner according to the host. The food was simply ok. The bread that was served was cold and it was just plain sliced white bread. The service was good but nothing spectacular. The restaurant that we were moved to was rated 4.1/5. The one that I reserved that was closed was rated 4.5/5. Maybe that’s the difference. Both ratings were from Google maps.

Great Food and Drinks at a reasonable price. Our server was fantastic and we’re greeted by the manager when we arrived and also he thanked us when we left. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good meal in Little Italy, Manhattan.

It just didn't feel right. Something was off. They kept hounding people at the door to come view menu and come in. That put me off...like if you're food and restaurant is good you don't need to convince them to come in.

All meals were expensive. My son's chicken meal was bone dry. The pizza I had was pretty good, but not the best. My wife enjoyed her chicken spaghetti meal though.

The food was delicious. The pasta was fresh and definitely homemade. The wait time between courses was perfect, not too slow, but they didn't rush you either. An amazing experience, and we will be going back!

Main dish and wine were great! The appetizer tasted like it came out of the freezer. Service was great and the whole staff was attentive. If you’re wanting a true “Little Italy” experience, this one was not quite there. It had 80s music playing and then it had top country hits. It was a good meal, but I would try somewhere else before I went back here.

Jack (“don’t call me Frank”), our server, gave us (what seemed) his usual humorous Italian welcome. He told us the food was great but the service was poor. Little did we know that was true! Vodka penne and Lasagna were very good. Burratta and table bread with olive oil were very mediocre. While we looked at the menu and we were still trying to decide, I commented we would like to order a drink but he said he’d like to get our food order in first and walked away. I’ve never had a server deny taking a drink order. He never stopped back at our table again. The manager saw we needed something and he came to take our drink and food orders. Another couple was telling manager of their issues and I also noticed they had no water, like us. However I saw servers with water on many occasions. The manager asked us after that how our meal was. I decided to tell him. He immediately came over with Tiramisu which was unnecessary but delicious. I would give the manager an A for effort but Jack waisted a big part of our evening.

Friendly staff... We booked because Google ratings were 5.0. Started with hot antipasto for 2 mussels were fishy mushrooms were sliced and tasted as if out of a can a grilled before being spread all over the dish. Eggplant rolatine was good. Ordered lentil soup it was mostly broth with a lentil taste ver few carrots and had sliced potatoes but no lentils sent it back. Ordered veal Milanese it was served with 2 slices of veal and spaghetti - it was tasted okay. My partner order a fish. Nothing special not quality fish no dish presentation attempted ... Only well wishes for Lamore! I need to remain with my instinct when u show for a reservation on a Saturday night in little Italy and restaurant not even half full ...it speaks volumes ...
