Lamaro's Hotel is an iconic Gastro-pub located in leafy Cecil Street in South Melbourne.

We have been wanting to try the Chianina T Bone after seeing it all over Instagram and were not disappointed. Absolutely delicious!! Please add it to the normal menu! The chat potatoes and broccolini were also divine. An amazing dining experience as always. The service at Lamaro’s is always top notch. Definitely amongst the best in Melbourne consistently, even when it’s super busy you still get the care and attention! Thank you- we will be back ❤️

Food was great (perfect steak), service was exceptional. It was a busy Saturday night so the place was a bit noisy, but bearable.

Our waiter was attentive, respectful and responsive. Lovely food. Maybe some green veg and salad included with steak meals would improve overall satisfaction and value.

Recommend the veal snitz and burger… will try the duck curry next time. Service outstanding, great fireplace. I love how they have not put floor boards down and have carpet…. It would be too noisey if floorboards were in the dining room. Will be back
