Her heritage stems all the way back to 1795, named after the wife of Sir Joseph Banks – Lady Dorothea Banks. Joseph Banks was a naturalist & botanist and named a unique thornless Rose “The Lady Banks Rose” after Lady Dorothea. the food was delicious. We shared some small plates. The brie dish, the mushroom arancini, and the grilled vegetables. The service was also fantastic. Looking forward to catching up with friends there again. An elegant classy venue to catch up with friends.

Service was terrible They kept forgetting our orders and getting the orders wrong. Food was pretty average and not cooked as requested. Medium rare steak came out well done. Second round it came out rare. We spent close to $1000 there and left disappointed.

Great service from when we arrived, at the bar and at the table. Great wine, had the second last bottle of Contessa 10/10, excellent food in both presentation and taste, disappointed that for that class of venue we had to either order by QR or at the bar …. (Location of QR disc also poor on table when you have a table for two and sharing dishes)

I booked for 4 people for lunch. Only 3 of us received our meals. The last order was not submitted properly by the male waiter on duty. When he realised the error he didn’t seek to have my friend’s meal expedited. All other tables received their meals ahead of our friend. I complained to the waitress, who deducted the cost of the meal from the menu and finally my friends meal arrived, after the rest of us had eaten. There weren’t a lot of people at the lunch sitting so the mistake should not have been made.

Great bar, Great view. You wouldn’t think you were in Bankstown. Staff are just lovely and professional. It’s 18 and over only so is perfect for when you don’t want kids around. The only gripe would be is bring back the pizzas. They are great for sharing.

Great venue. Sunday singer a bit loud to have a conversation over otherwise great. Tables are really sticky from whatever they are cleaned with !

Ordered a dozen of a mixed array of Sydney Rock Oysters, and of course, the Lobster Mornay, paired with a superb bottle of La Crema Monterey Chardonnay, California. An absolute marriage of taste and texture. The Octopus with its amazing sauces was tender and charred. An extra special thank you to Grace, who with her perfect customer service skills, menu knowledge and hospitable smile, went above and beyond to provide us with a perfect evening. Thank you Grace.

I went here for Valentine’s Day with my partner and I had a lovely evening. Staff were exceptional and very accomodating. Food was delicious and was value for money. I will definitely go there again.

Nice ambience and feel. We ordered the seafood platter. The tuna sashimi and prawns were nice, but the octopus was so hard and chewy, almost inedible, The scallops way over cooked, it's a shame because the butter sauce was a nice flavour. The natural oysters were OK, but the seasoning of Sauces on other oysters needed a but more zing to lift the flavour. Overall was not bad, but I have had seafood platters alot cheaper and double the flavour. Just needed abit more attention to detail.

Great vibe for a night out with girlfriends. Tapas meals were a good size and delicious. From our entrance, we were welcomed warmly by Grace who looked after us very attentively, including taking a group photo of us overlooking the Western Sydney University campus sparking in the background. (We are all current or past staff members of WSU!)

Music is way too loud outdoors can't talk without screaming and they couldn't turn it down. Ordered the crab fettuccine there was maybe a teaspoon of crab at $32. Ambience is lovely that's the only reason we go otherwise I would rate it as average. We would not return due to very loud music.

Although I enjoy music at a venue, it is just too loud. When dining with friends and trying to have a conversation without shouting and repeating ourselves because we can't hear eachother over the music. I suggest the DJ comes on after a certain time, like 10.00pm.. Before that the music should be at a lower volume, enough to enjoy it while dining ofcourse.

Lovely space however the restaurant was very understaffed meaning drinks took forever to arrive and entrees were being served with mains.

Love the atmosphere. Don’t like how you have to use the QR code to order for yourself, please bring back waiters! Food looked great & appetising but lacked flavour. Menu needs to be changed seasonally to allow for repeat customers.

Food and drinks weren’t satisfying! We had to ask the waiter to re make our drinks which he was happy to do so. I don’t know change of in the kitchen or new menu but I came last year and was so much better

Took my wife here for her birthday. The staff were very accommodating and great with their service. It was a bit windy outside so the staff took us inside and made sure we were comfortable. Very reasonable pricing and the food was great. Highly recommend trying out the wide array of entrees they have as all of them were 10/10. Smoked duck was heavenly too! :)

Service was impeccable! The food was flavoursome,however, the swordfish was very dry. Music was too loud to be able to talk at the table comfortably, maybe the volume should be a little lower. Overall a great dining experience and will be back!

Ordered Swordfish for $37. Inedible, tough and chewy. Had to spit out each mouthful. Even the potatoes had a tough skin that could not be swallowed and had to be removed from my mouth and left on the plate. Nice atmosphere but the meal was terrible. Felt ripped off. Very poor.

We had a wonderful time last night, all the staff were amazing very professional, but also very friendly and were happy to help with any request. The food was delicious and plentiful! All in all my partner and I it all made for a wonderful fun night. The only thing I would say, was the music was a bit too loud and made it hard to hold a conversation. But well done to you all! We’re looking forward to enjoying a meal there at another time. Thank you 🙏 Happy New Year to you all

NYE at Lady banks was great. Paid for a 3 course dinner for 2 (enough to feed 5!!) Very beautiful set up with great views for NYE with views of the fireworks. Would highly recommend.
