The dinner was very nice overall, our waiter Santi was extra helpful in explaining menu options, cooking famous soup with hot stones next to our table, clarifying about types of mesquites and accompanying warm salt with the slices of fruits. He took pictures of us with nice background of the restaurant decorations. And he gave us some tips on how to get to Tulum center by bicycles and recommended several local places to eat lunch there. We liked la zebra restaurant and came back there for lunch of burritos and original salad, very delicious! Thank you, Santi, for making us feel special for treating us so kindly!

La Zebra needs a total over haul. Meaning a new menu and head chef. The food is probably the worst I ever had. The menu is very hard to understand and the food is not worth the money you spend here. The ambience and the wait staff were the best parts of this restaurant. This place could be a lot better with a proper chef and menu.

Perfect spot to go if it’s raining as they have fully indoors, but doors that open for breeze. Ambiance with a beautiful lit walkway, high ceilings. The tuna tostadas were fresh/delicious, and the poblano stuffed pepper was a perfect starter as it had a smoky mole sauce to complement the spicy fresh filling. The grilled fish entree was a larger than expected portion, a great cut of thick meaty fish, possibly a halibut (forgot to ask) with a great vegetable mix sauce with roasted tomatoes. The shrimp entree also, superb. This spot never disappoints and neither does the service!

Had a wonderful dinner on the beach. Nice evening ocean breeze and food was amazing. If you prefer to have nice quiet dinner on the beach, highly recommend this place.

We had a wonderful time dining at La Zebra. The food was esquisite and the ambiance was perfect. Also, the lucha libre” presentation was so entertaining. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a place to dine and have a great time.

Went for “All you can taco Thursday”, immediately impressed with the ambiance and service before even being seated. Filip situated us close to an ocean view and far enough from the live music to enjoy it but still be able to converse. The taco menu was divided into regions of Mexico with plenty of meat and vegetarian options. My wife enjoyed 4 different types of vegetarian taco and honestly couldn’t decide which was her favorite. As for myself I tried several different tacos and each was delicious. Mucho sabroso! Could not be happier with the entire experience, possibly the best meal we had in Mexico, which included Tulum, Mexico City, and Cancun.
