    The white fish was excellent. Our server was so sweet and patient with our kids. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and had great suggestions. We will be back.

    My sons dish, Penne Abbruzzese, was not good. Waiter did not offer a replacement or take it off the bill when we told him. That was disappointing. My fish special was very good though. Overall 3 stars on the food.

    Thank you for your review. This is very surprising, this is our specialty pasta that is the most popular for the last 30 years. The server should have notified a manager of this and we would have been happy to get your son something he liked better. Was there anything specific about the dish that was wrong or that he disliked? We appreciate your feedback!

    We had always wanted to try this restaurant because it seems like a popular place. It was a disappointing experience for us. We had the worst table in the house, which was by the bathrooms and cash register. I did ask to be moved and they said they tried but could not accommodate us. They gave us complimentary drinks, which was very considerate. We ordered the grilled calamari for an appetizer. It tasted horrible to me, like extra slimy, raw, and fishy, so I removed it from my mouth. We ordered the fried calamari and that tasted better. They did not charge us for the grilled calamari, which was also gracious. I had the angel hair pomodoro with sausage, which tasted bland yet over-sauced. I could only eat a few mouthfuls. My friend had a seafood dish, which she also did not like. We had the crème brûlée for dessert, which was okay; the texture tasted coarse and grainy. The service was very good, as in you never had to wait for your drinks, food, or bill, but it seemed that our server wanted to quickly get rid of us. She gave us the bill without asking first if there was anything else we wanted to order. The ambience seemed excellent. It was busy, noisy, and packed; obviously, many people appear to enjoy this place. I was not one of them; it didn’t meet expectations.

    Overall, a pretty good experience except for trying to find parking. It was a total nightmare in Saint Charles. It took over 20 minutes to find one spot 1/2 mile away so be weary of that.

    I can’t say enough good things from our dinner tonight. The meal was topped only by the service from Val. Wish we lived closer so we could be regulars. Don’t miss out - dinner here is a must!

    This was our first time here, and we had a wonderful experience. Both ordering the Halibut special, it was amazing! The carrot cake was a the best ever had and the chocolate cake devine. High recommended.

    We were there for Mother’s Day so it was busy. We ordered the calamari. It was OK. The breading was rather bland. We had the veal medallions which were wonderfully prepared. My husband had sausage and angel hair pasta. The sausage was very flavorful, but he said he didn’t need a half a pound of pasta, we waited quite a while to get our drinks and had to find the waitress to get a refill on drinks. Overall, it was a good experience.
