We leave in Playa and we go often at Vicenta but yesterday the service was not good as usual the server keeping forgetting everything and the mash potatoes was like a liquid soup …. We go there for the meat it really good and prices are fair too

Disappointed with this one. The other Anderson restaurants are far superior. Far too loud and service wasn’t great. Good was ok.

Unfortunately our experience was terrible. We came here for my son’s birthday, which we had notified the restaurant of in our reservation. When we were seated we were never given drink menus, and we had to ask for food menus. We were never even notified who our actual server was. We had to just keep calling people over to order. No one checked on us to see if we needed more drinks. We each were only given one drink, kids couldn’t even get more Coke or water. It took over an hour to order our food. When it came and we finished, they never asked how the meal was, if we needed anything, and never took our dirty plates away. Our huge menus also sat on the table for the entire meal. We had to ask for the bill and it took 10 minutes to get it. All the while, our dirty plates were still sitting there. The whole experience took over 2 hours, and in the end the server who brought us our bill asked us how much of a tip we’d like to charge on top of the bill! Zero service and he wanted a tip. We had requested a celebratory dessert for my son’s birthday which we never received. Overall the absolute worst service we’ve had at a restaurant. I will say the food and atmosphere was good, just the service was awful.

We loved it here except for the volume of music. Speakers were right above our table which made it impossible to have a conversation. Margaritas were the best we had all week and the steak prepared table side was amazing!!

Our concierge recommended this as a family friendly restaurant to celebrate my daughter’s 10th birthday. Overall it was great. The nachos were outstanding. We loved how they poured the cheese on them in front of us. It was just a little too loud for my liking with the loud music. Also although the food was good, my steak came out cold which was disappointing.

I enjoyed the ambiance, party atmosphere, joviale. The wings, friend calamari, drinks and desserts where great. The meat plate where a 3.75/5. The meat lasaña had no meat, so the was off. Was hard to get a server attention at times, but there was a event going on (Super Bowl).

Delicioso! Siempre que hemos ido nos encanta! Comida, ambiente, servicio excelente! Solo El ruido de la música esta un poco fuerte si quieres ir a platicar y que padre que abrieron un espacio para niños pero es demasiado caluroso, falta ventilación! Buen ambiente, buena música, la decoración del lugar muy adoc y agradable a la vista. La comida en términos generales es buena pero considero si le falta un picor a ciertos platillos que en la cocina mexicana son característicos.

La Vicenta ranks among the worst experiences I've had in decades of dining -- so it is a challenge to accommodate all my criticisms in 2000 characters. My family and I selected La Vicenta for our New Year's Eve dinner, in part due to the restaurant's favorable reviews and their advertisement of a specially chef-curated three-course meal, a champagne toast, and live entertainment. I was required to pay in advance for the evening -- a whopping $951.31 for four people. In short, the entire evening was horridly overpriced, from the mediocre meal (which did not include anything beverage than water in the cover price!), to the uncoordinated service, to the deafening loud DJed music -- so loud that the customers had to shout to be heard by staff. In short, the evening was decidedly less classy than described at the time of booking. The first course was a single, barely warm platter of various Mexican appetizers that one could find on virtually any menu in Playa. Our second course was the surf and turf (steak and marinated/grilled shrimp). Some of the steaks were overcooked and the choice of cut seemed, let's say, economical. For a restaurant that styles itself as "expertos en la parilla," these are unforgivable flaws. The protein was paired with a potatoes and mushroom, in an heavy-handed seasoning of garlic. The meal closed with lemon cheesecake that we couldn't finish, less on account of its large size than of its cloying flavor. This dish felt like another means to economize on ingredients and increase the restaurant's margins for the evening. On the whole, not a lot of subtlety or complexity in the flavors of the dishes. The cuisine could benefit from a bit more restraint: less is more. This rule also applies to the overly large wait staff who work inefficiently and without communication, which led to quite a number of aggravations at the table (redundant questioning, premature removal of items, etc.). A positive note: performers were talented and enjoyable to watch.

Delicious food with great presentation, and excellent drinks. They give just the right amount of theater to the food presentation, but it is backed up with great flavor and quality. What a great holiday dinner and great experience to finish our trip to Playa del Carmen

Nos encantó el ambiente, el servicio y la comida! Pensamos regresar y recomendárselo a nuestros amigos! Todo estuvo genial, los meseros estaban al pendiente, eran muy rápidos , energéticos y súper amables! The restaurant is very noisy. That takes away from the experience. We ordered the Amo Steak, wanted it medium rare which initially it was when they brought it from the kitchen. The waiter cut it in slices and marinated it in front of us and put it on the grill. By the time he grilled the slices it wasn’t medium rare any longer. What a way to ruin a good piece off meat. On top the waiters seemed to be very unorganized. The place was half empty and one waiter took our order and then once we told him all made us reorder with another waiter. For the price we paid this is a joke.

La comida es muy buena, las raciones son de buen tamaño, tienen opciones fuera de lo común con muy buen sazón. Las dinámicas q hacen los meseros son divertidas y el servicio es rápido. El lugar es muy lindo y los cócteles son muy buenos también.

Eata vez si no fue muy bueno el servicio , nos llevaron la entrada y el plato fuerte al mismo tiempo y no , ofrecieron las entradas que dan desde que llegas , y tenía que estar pidiendo las cosas, como las salsas, tortillas, etc. No hubo muy buena atención. Muy poca gente y aún así tardaban mucho . La cuenta tardo bastante en traerla. Espero que si vuelvo ir en la próxima tenga más suerte en el servicio.
